The Hidden Rose

Enemies

I felt frustrated and angry. I actually threw my stuff from my desktop on the floor, and I punched the wall. Just like Subaru, I left a hole on the wall. I had my forehead press against the wall, as I stare down on the floor. I was panting, trying to call myself down. My daughter awakened the curse, my grandfather declared war, and a spy is on the loose.

A knock was then heard on the door, but I didn't respond. Instead I straighten myself and looked at the door. "Yui, it's me." Ayato said.

"Come in." 

Ayato came in, and was shocked to see my office. "What happened?" Ayato ask in worry as he walks to me.

"Nothing, I just made a little mess." I respond.

Ayato gently touches my cheek, but my gaze looks away from him. "Yui, look at me." he says in a soft tone. And I did, I looked at his green emerald eyes.

"Somethings not right." He says as he gently puts my hair behind my ear.

I closed my eyes, and sighed. I then open my eyes again. "I'm sorry, I'm just frustrated." 

"So am I. But to make all of that frustration go away, I always think of you and Azumi. You girls are important to me." Ayato pulls me into a hug, and I hug him back. "Everything will be alright." Ayato says as he strokes my hair.

"You're right." I said as my head rests on his chest.

"I love you." 

"I love you too." I smile.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything." Ayato and I turn our heads to look at Yukio. "But they got the intruder."

...

I glare down at the intruder. He was defenseless, and weak. My hands turned into fists, as I continue to glare down at him. His hands were tied behind his back, and he was on his knees, as he looks down on the floor in shame. Two guards were behind the intruder, and the other two were on my both sides. 

"We can do this the hard way or the easy way. What is your name?" I ask.

No response. 

"Your name." I demanded.

No response still.

I look up at the guards, and nod my head. They nod back, and they pull the man up to his feet. One guard grabs his hair, making him look up. The two guards took him and they push his head into the barrel of water. The man then struggled from the guards grip, he moves under their grip, but his head was still in the water, gurgling. A few seconds past, and the guards lift his head back up to have him look at me.

"Go to hell." the venom words spat from his mouth, as glares at me.

The guards pushed his head back in the water, and the man continued with the same action. Soon enough he was lifted from the water. I didn't want to do this, but I have no choice. I need information.

"Since I heard three words come out, I must hear your name."

"Miko."

"Miko...you set to spy on me, and yet you even put my daughter in danger. Do you know how much you have caused to my family and the village? My uncle and my grandfather will destroy everything...and it's all because you told them about my daughter's curse." 

"So what? It's not like I care anyway what happens to your family, or your village. You're just an enemy to me."

I exhale, "You're right we're enemies." I activated my powers, forming a connection to the spy, and he was lifted off from the floor. "And as enemies we will hate each other." 

"Yui." Yukio says coming up to me, "Are you sure you want to do this?" He asks looking at the spy and back at me.

"Yes, now do it." I said still looking at the spy who glared at me with hatred. Yukio sighed and activated his powers. He created a circular form that looked like a black hole. "You will disappear from this world, and you will never hurt family nor my people." I threw him through the black hole, sending him to a different place, a different time, and a different world. 

The portal soon closes, and the room was filled with silence. I just walked down the red carpet stairs, and turned my head to the General who was standing still near the wall. "General, gather all the soldiers and prepare them for the war."

"Yes, Queen Yui!" He says as he puts his right fist to his chest, and lowers his hand back to his side.

"If they want war, we'll give them war..." I said to myself

Sorry it took me so long to update, but two more chapters and The Hidden Rose is completed! Finally! So this just a sort chapter, but get ready for the WAR!!!!

Ugh I need a cup of coffee T_T
