Savouring sugary taste
Take a breath
Why the sudden haste?
Rewritten steps
Guided down a path
Of perfect honeyed lies
We were guided down a path
Of luminary blue skies
Skipping in the realm of faux flowers
Soaring in the air injected with ecstatic deliria
Plunging headfirst into troubled seas
Hitches unnoticed swallow us greedily
Now we taste the salt
Beneath the lies
And see much grey
In our once blue skies.
We choke on the poison
Wafting in the air
And in a thorny mess confused
How did we get here?
