I don't know if that's the ship name but close enough :')

Anyway

This ship is cute and I don't do enough with it. :P

Also I'm taking this idea from an RP I did with my good friend known as  Løsercake on YouTube. Subscribe to him please he's very talented.

I'll stop talking now,,

Also this isn't fluff, but I don't quite think it qualifies as angst so take it as whatever.

Lightning looked over to Snowball sitting across from him. They had agreed to meet up here, at Chuncky Chez, surprisingly a quite fancy restaurant.

Lightning couldn't help but be nervous. He was sitting across from Snowball, one of his only friends, and the only person he'd ever had a crush on, and he was about to tell him all of his feelings.

His chest had so many butterflies that it felt like he was going to explode.

"Why did you wanna meet here again...?" Snowball asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, heh, I just wanted to, uhm, tell you something, just to kinda.... Get it off my chest, y'know?" Lightning responded. He was fumbling with his words. Fuck. He just couldn't find the right words. Why did he let Tree convince him to do this??

Snowball nodded, leaning in, intrigued. "Yeah? You can tell me, I won't mind."

Lightning nodded, pausing to try and find the right words.

"We've been friends for a while, right? And, well... For the longest time I, uh..."

"... I think I love you..."

As soon as Lightning said that, he wanted to disappear. He couldn't look Snowball in the eye. Had he made the right choice?

Snowball was silent a few minutes. Even though Lightning wasn't looking at him, he could see in his peripheral vision that he looked a little shocked.

"I've... Never been in a relationship before, and I don't exactly know how love works, but... I like you too. I don't know if I love you, but, I really like you. You're cool." Snowball finally replied.

Lightning didn't know what to say. He didn't even know how to feel. I mean, it was heartbreaking for him, but at least they were still friends, right..?

It took Lightning a minute or two to snap out of it and respond.

"... Thanks. I guess I... Kinda expected that." He admitted, playing back some scenarios his paranoid mind had thought up just a few minutes ago.

"Sorry if it wasn't what you were looking for but, I mean, don't take it personally, it's my fault for not understanding how me or my feeling work.." Snowball said.

Lightning looked back up at Snowball. "No! No, it's fine. It's not your fault." Lightning assured him. " I guess I.... I don't know. Maybe I shouldn't have ever said anything... Let's just, order something." Lightning said as he opened the menu, both to order and to hide his face if he started crying.

"Ok... And, hey, don't feel bad about telling me anything else you feel. Even if I don't feel the same, I'm still here for you." Snowball said.

Lightning was still for a second, then nodded. "... Thank you..."

"Of course."

How do you write endings.

Also I'm sorry this is kinda bad and maybe a little rushed.
