Request from star-psd! I hope you like it!

Pen looked around the room. The art camp he had signed up to do during the summer months had more people than he expected. Still, he supposed he shouldn't be too surprised. After all, there weren't many summer camps actually open this year.

Straining to look over the crowd, Pen searched for his friends. He didn't even know if any of them were coming, as he'd broken his phone earlier in the month and kept forgetting to ask when they met up, but he at least held out hope.

He at least hoped Tree was coming.

Pen decided to stop looking for now. If his friends were there, he'd see them later. For now, he'd just see if he could see anyone he recognized at all.

Leafy, Lightning, Bell.... And, of course, Pencil and Match. Just his luck.

Although he and Pencil were cousins, she and Pen hated each other. It had been that way since they were little. And then, wherever Pencil was, Match followed. She was just as bad.

Oh well, it wouldn't be hard to just avoid them.

Pen's thoughts were interrupted as the counselor called for the camps attention. After she took role, she introduced herself, and also introduced the camp activities.

"There's arts and crafts, some construction paper, clay, and normal loose leaf paper for drawing. It's pretty chill, so just hang out for an hour until you go home." She said.

Everyone started going to different tables, including Pen. He sat down in a table in the corner, near Lightning and some kid he didn't know, and far away from Pencil.

Pen already knew he was going to draw. He even had brought his own sketchbook. He just needed to think of something to draw.

... Fuck.

Nothing came to mind.

Pen let his thoughts wander, trying, perhaps, to think of an idea as he mindlessly doodled. After a few minutes of spacing out, Pen focused on what he was doodling. He had started drawing Tree.

Pen blushed when he saw it. Usually, he didn't draw real people when he doodled, but as of recently, Tree had been on his mind a lot...

... He might even have a slight crush on him.

Just a little bit.

...

Maybe more than a little bit.

Pen dismissed whatever idea he had come up with while spacing out, and continued the drawing of Tree.

Pen had finished the drawing right as camp ended for the day. He wasn't going to lie, he was quite proud of the drawing. It really looked like Tree, and the anatomy seemed better than usual. Before he could stop himself, he had started drawing tiny hearts around the sketch.

Nodding to himself, Pen packed up his sketchbook, pencils, and pens. He started the short walk home, feeling like he was on a cloud. He planned the rest of the afternoon out. He'd go home, ink the drawing with some of his pens, and go over to Tree's house.
