Two

Newt's POV
Two years. Two bloody years since we've been here. Two years of not finding a way out. Two years scince I've seen Alexa. Yeah that's right I remember her. Made her a promise and of coure I kept it. She was the bloody first person I thought of when I first got in the box. God I miss her so much! I would do anything to see her face again.

"NEWT!" Someone yells snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah? What?" The door burst open to revile a boy puffing and panting.

"Well I see we a new runner" my voice dripping of sarcasam. "What do you want Luke?" I sigh looking down at the older boy.

Once the boy gets his breath he grabs my wrist. "C'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon!" He wines. Luke may be the oldest, but he's the most immuture.

"Lukey, just tell me why" I say. Knowing the fact that he hates being called that. He just rolls his eyes.

"Well, there's a new Greenie and-" I wait for a response, but nothing came

"And...what?"

"Ahh never mind. Better let Alby explain" he nods and we make our way to the box.

Alexa's POV
"... So that's Deadhead. Just a place where you can relax ya know" I nod. Chuck was just showing me around "the Glade" as everyone calles it.

"Anyway better get back before Alby get mad ay" He said nugging my arm.

"So Alby... He's the leader, right?"

"Yeah, first in command. Was the first one sent 'ere ya know"

"And when was that?" I ask getting into this connversation.

"Two years ago"

"And no one's found a way out?"

Chuck just shake's his head.

"Anyways, runner'll be back soon. Wanna go meet 'em?" He asks getting all excited all of a sudden.

I laugh "Sure. Why not?"

We ran to the open door to see two little specks. Chuck waves wildly at them and gives a toothy grin.

"That one over there" He says pointing to the asian looking one. "Is Minho"

Minho. Another name I've heared before.

"And that one's-" I dont even need to know his name. That face. That face is the one thing letting me know I found him.

"TOMAS!" I scream as I run up to him. He's confused at first. Maybe couse a girl shouting his name, then suddenly his mouth dropped. Every moment I get closer more memorise come back. I remember the times we had, the jokes we made. But that all ended about a month ago...

Flashback
"Tomas put me down!" I laugh as he runs around the building with me on his shoulder.

"NEVER!" He fist bumps the air as I laugh harder.

"God, you such a -"

"Ahem" A voice came out of nowhere. "Sorry to interuped you but we need Tomas"

We stand there in shock, knowing their plans for him.

"No" I say sternly.

The man looks taken back. "Excuse me?" He asks taking a step closer.

I gulp down all the nervousness. "I said No!" I almost scream. Before I could react his fist meet the side of my face, causing me to fall to the floor.

"ALEX!" Tomas yells, crouching beside me.

"Take me, j-just dont hurt her. Please" I could bearly hear him through his sobing.

The man smirked. "Very well. I will let you say you goodbyes" He turned and walked away.

"Tom please dont!" I cry on his shoulder. "I've lost so many people and don't want you to be one of them" I barely chock out.

"I-I have to. I'm sorry but if I don't go, who know what they'll do to you"

I scoff "Exacly! What if they do somthing to me?"

"I'm sorry" he whispers while holding me in his arms.

"I know" I let out a big sigh. "I'll miss you to much though"

"Yeah... I'll miss you too"

"Your getting your memory whiped stupid!" I laught as he shruggs.

"You'll never know"

We hug and say our last goodbyes until the man walks in again.

"Alright Tom, it's time to go" The man says. Tom huffs as he's lead out the room.

"I wont forget you!" He calls. I wave to him.

"This is the last time I'm ever gonna see you again" I whisper mainly to myself.
