Chapter 13

Jennie's POV

I woke up so comfortably warm.

I fluttered my eyes open and felt that I was being hugged and I was snuggling.

I can smell her familiar scent that I always get used to every single day.

I looked up a little and hit her chin.

"Ow..." She groaned.

I pushed myself a little away from her because the hospital bed is huge enough for two people.

"I am so sorry, Chu." I say while rubbing my temple.

"It's fine, Jen." She rubs her chin. "Are you hurt?" She asks cupping my face to get a better look at me.

"No, well not as hurt as you." I chuckled.

She sighed in relief and chuckled with me.

Our chuckles died down and there was silence surrounding us. Not the awkward one but the comfortable one.

"Jen, I know this is crazy to ask right here, right now but..." She bites her bottom lip.

"Just tell me, Chu." I ordered.

She sighs deeply.

"C-can I kiss you?" She looks at me with seriousness in her eyes.

That question actually left me loading.

"Can I kiss you?"

"Can I kiss you?"

"Can I kiss you?"

Who would ask that?!

"Jen?" She brings me back to reality.

"Um..." I didn't know what to say.

"It's fine if you don't want. I was only getting your permission." She gives me a sad smile.

I can't take this!

I immediately cupped her face to look at me and I captured her lips.

Oh god! This is my first kiss!

I can't believe I'll actually have my first in a hospital bed with Kim Jisoo!

She got stiff for a moment but syncs her lips with mine.

This first kiss wasn't that bad after all.

We pulled away catching our breaths.

"N-nice job f-for your first time." She puts her chin on top of my head.

"Thanks." I hugged her.

"So... you guys enjoyed it." We heard Lisa say by the door.

"You two didn't even notice us when we got in because you were too busy doing your business." Chae adds with a smirk.

Jisoo didn't pull away. She held me tighter by the waist.

I blushed when she actually held me. Her warmth is really calming.

"Jendeuk is mine." She cuddles me.

"No one's gonna take her. So chill, Unnie." Lisa rolls her eyes.

Jisoo sticks her tongue out. Lisa did as well.

"Childish." Me and Chae say in unison and we shook our heads.
