How You Meet Part 4

Kali

  It had been a full three years since the attack on the Belladonna household, the attack by the Fang on the orders of Adam Taurus, that night had led to the death of the island's chief. Ghira Belladonna. For those three years, Ghira's widow, Kali had ruled over the island until her daughter returned home to take her place on Menagerie's throne. You had tagged along due to the pair inviting you along with the rest of the group that had traveled with them in their quest to defeat Salem.

  Now that you had won, all of you could finally relax. There were to be two celebrations today. The first was Blake's coronation, the second was Blake and Yang's wedding. A number of faunus weren't too happy that a human had gotten into a position of so much sway on an island of faunus, but they accepted it for the most part, much to the insistence of both their current ruler and their soon to be chieftain. 

  Y/N first encountered Kali when she came out of the kitchen carrying a serving tray with cups of tea all across it, Y/N almost coughed on her own tongue when she caught sight of the woman, with how attractive Blake was, it was a given that her mom would be attractive too, but y/n hadn't ever expected her to be THIS good looking. And as she went around the table giving people their tea y/n's eyes couldn't help but watch her.

  When it came to her turn to be served y/n coughed and came back to her senses before taking the tea and smiling softly "Thank you, Ms. Belladonna." y/n was blushing deeply, spending the entire day through both ceremonies trying to pay attention to the stars of the show, but couldn't help it as her eyes wandered back to the elder Belladonna time and time again

  But later on, y/n did succeed in getting your mind off of her with a game of Cards Against Humanity after she went to bed. So that was something.

Raven

  Y/N had been wandering the forest for days now, she'd been lost after wandering away from her home village, her family had kicked her out of her home due to being unable to pay her rent, so she had decided to try and move on toward a new village in hopes of finding work. But, partway there y/n had lost her map along with her supplies after falling into a river after a lightning bolt had struck the narrow bridge she had been crossing two days prior. Now afte being washed on shore she was lost.

  After another hour or so of walking, y/n heard a crack of a stick and turned to look before being hit in the face and knocked out cold. Another few hours later she awoke tied and chained up to a post inside of a tent, a black-haired woman was sipping her tea with a shorter woman with brown short hair just then walking out of the tent. Her eyes soon turned and looked you y/n, her lips gently blowing on her tea to cool it down, sipping it and then sitting it down again before standing up.

  "Good morning. It seems our guest has awoken." she walked forward, looking down at the ensnared y/n, crossing her arms under her chest without much on her mind besides trying to wiggle some coin out of this exchange, that and keeping her people away from that cursed Salem "Now, I'll keep this simple. We're gonna contact your relatives or whoever cares for you and they're gonna pay up. Then you're going home safe and sound. Sound good? Good."

  Y/N sighed and shook her head, now thinking she was probably just going to die "But... nobody is going to pay for me... they kicked me out already to save money... I doubt they'd pay more money to get me back into the house..." yeah, she thought she was definately going to die, so she closed her eyes tightly and looked to the side as Raven unsheathed her blade and brought it into the air

  Then she slashed and the chains holding her to the post were cut, y/n's eyes coming opena and getting wide as she looked up at her captor "W-what? Why?" y/n fought the instinct to run, that would be suicide

  "You can't pay. So you'll work. You serve us now."

Winter

  Y/N had just been hired as the secretary for the new headmistress of Atlas Academy, a strong sense of pride running through her as she approached the glass doors and walked through them, she had the desk that was just outside of the headmistress's office, a nice spot where you were given the duty of ensuring nobody came into the room without being scheduled first and making certain that her new boss was not interrupted. Winter was a stern woman, one who certainly didn't have much care for silliness and things that broke protocol and deposed logical sense.

  Y/N had not quite known much about her when she had hired you, but then again, this would be the first time you truly met her in person. As your desk came into view, y/n spotted the white-haired woman standing at full attention before it, looking right at y/n.

  "F/N L/N?" she asked simply, arms folded behind her back, voice calm and face stoic

  At this y/n gulped before nodding "Yes ma'am. Your new secretary, just as you requested." y/n's back straightening and becoming stiff, this woman was super intimidating, maybe it was because she was a Schnee

  She walked forward and then asked "Arriving early? Nearly an entire hour. Well done, I have a fondness for that sort of initiative. If you're like this in every position there is an absolute certainty that you can do well in this career." she offered the smallest remnant of a smile before saying "On your desk are three stacks of papers. I need them filled out, reviewed, and filed. Once that is complete, you are to report to classroom 3-F for the professor's routine examination. On top of that, you will need to speak with the janitorial staff and see how our stock of cleaning chemicals is fairing and if we need to purchase more. Finally, you'll be handling the permit requests in the stack coming in this afternoon." She then continued on as you had already taken out a notepad and were jotting down everything she said "And, as to allow for easier commute from here to your dwellings, I have taken the liberty of having my personal airship pilot come and collect you in the mornings." she stopped speaking and looked straight at y/n firmly in her eyes "Now. Will you be able to handle the pressure of this job."

  "Without fail, ma'am." y/n smiled proudly, she could do this for sure, no problem about it

  Winter nodded, her firmness returning "Excellent. I will see you once your shift is complete." she turned and walked toward her office, closing the door behind her
