The clouds were gathering around the pier. Demolished and old boats were being crashed upon with the cold and rough sea waves. A teen- no, a commander, was standing and watching the clouds gather. He was fearless, and standing strong.

"Filaaaaak!~ The suppliers are here!"

Filak turned around from the clouds, as Helian ran to him, she was kind of pumped about something, but Filak couldn't figure it out.

"They're here, huh? What did they get us?"
"More ammo, and food. You also haven't eaten your dinner yet. Come eat and sign the attendance papers."
"Coming..."

He looked at the clouds again, a storm was brewing.

"So we brought you specialty ammo, Commander. And some spicy toys to play with. After getting a small boost on intel and tech from that Terragroup base raid - we were able to produce some good things that you might find of use in battle."

Filak grabbed the pen and signed the papers. Stechking took the papers and checked all, and then fixed his glasses back up, ordering the soldiers to get the things in the armory.

"Thanks a bunch, Stech. You really were kinda misplaced by being on the frontline and not in the back doing research."
"Well it's thanks to YOU I'm back there doing more than I ever imagined!"
"Oh no need to thank me. I hope there is the new prototype in the group of supplies?"
"You bet. Wesson will love it! It's kinda a huge mess right now, but if we get some feedback and refine it, it should be the perfect countermeasure for Modular armor."

Imir ran up to them both, and quickly told Filak that the tunnel that connects their small dig in base and the lighthouse is finished.

"Ah, Stechkin!"
"Hello Imir! How is your arm?"
"It's going along fine with your new bandage-sleeves you made."

Imir looked over her elbow - it had the tight black bandaid around it.

"That's very pleasing to hear. We have to go now - thank you for relying on me!"
"See you later."

Filak smiled lightly, as they grouped and flew away in helicopters.

"Commander, Helian told me to send you to the cafe after you're done!"
"Jeez, she sure does want me to taste her new dish huh... Alright, thanks and you can go, Imir. Go get Sauer to the cafe too then. I gotta talk to her."
"Okay captain!"

Imir ran off, and Filak stretched a bit, going in the underground compound that was their small dig in base.
It smelled really nice near the cafe, and so Filak came in, knocking.

"I'm here... Is it cold yet?"

Helian turned to Filak with a smile, and put his cup of tea near the plate of what seemed to be curry.

"Nope, not yet. In fact, when I first called you it was too hot - so it's a good thing you came a bit later due to the delivery..."
"Well - this is curry. I thought it was a new dish?"
"I'm trying to improve, okay?! After all the last two times I made curry it was either overcooked or undercooked."
"Alright, makes sense to me."

He reached for the fork as Helian stopped him by pointing a knife at him.

"...W-What-"
"Did you wash your hands?"
"No..."
"Then you better go wash them!"

Filak sighed in relief as he was scared he said something wrong, got up, went to the kitchen sink and washed his hands, coming back out and digging into the food.
Helian finished doing the dishes and ran to Filak, who was finishing the food.

"Weeeeell? How is it?"
"It's really good - you even added the perfect amount of spices too."

Helian grinned and cheered by herself, with Filak drinking the tea. He thanked Helian for the food and she was extensively happy as it was the best thing that happened to her that day.

"CAPTAIN! What would you do if you were to meet a Russie with a gun that was scared to shoot you!"

It was Sauer, and she ran up to Filak, and she had a completely new outfit, with a super light new armor prototype made for the sprinting scout that is herself.

"I'd ask him patiently to put the gun down and talk him out - then disarm him and get him to base."

She ran up to him, panting a bit and looking up at him.

"Aha! So you don't want to kill?!"
"If my enemy doesn't want to fight I won't fight and carefully approach him. We're all stuck in this because of a few people not talking it out."
"Ahh... I thought you drank blood."
"What kind of rumor is that?!"
"Nothing, what did you call me for here?"
"I wanted to talk about the next few days. You, Heckler, and Wesson will cross the canal. We're going to Swida."
"I see, we will prepare!"

Everything seemed to be fine, Filak watched her run back up the lighthouse, and watched the storm slowly begin with rain. He looked at the other side of the canal. Will he find his friends there? But he really wasn't about that for now.

Somewhere in the northern territory of Swida.

In a heavily decorated office. A giant painting of the Russie's defeating the Frankrie Empire in the 18th century.

Clink. An expensive tea set was being used, as an officer knocked and came in.

And he spoke with a heavy russie accent.

"Miss, we got new data about the new spetsnaz training."
"Very well."

The woman put the cup down carefully, and then began reading thoroughly.

"Why is there only 1 kilometer sniping for the snipers?"
"D-Do you wish for a larger distance?"

SLAM! The woman stood up and looked at the officer.

"NONSENSE! Do we look like we wield weapons only capable of a teeny tiny distance of 1 kilometer?!"

The officer stood straight as possible, sweating and scared a bit.

"W-We will add 2 and 3 kilometer sniping!"

She stopped yelling, and sat down slowly.

"Very well. Make a mistake like that again and you'll be doing cleaning duty infront of your group of privates and other officers. You're free to go."
"I apologize, miss Orsis! I will not make a mistake like that again!"

Orsis watched the officer tremble a bit, take the paper, keeping a stern face, and leave. The door clicked closed, and she grabbed her tea, looking out the window on the full moon, as it was heavily snowing.

"Oh Filak, what are you up to now? Your stargazing made me a higher up in the Russie army - essentially you're still down there on the enemy side. I wish I had you with me right here and right now. But seems like I'm gonna have to use a bit more force..."

She grinned and looked at the mirror a bit, looking at herself, her prestigious uniform, and her Senior Officer insignia.

"Stupid stargazer won't even stand a chance against our reformed army. I even made a bounty on his star-filled head. That got my soldiers motivated - and that makes me smile a whole lot. He's gonna be soon just a pleb - and imprisoned here. But I'm gonna avoid him a lot, I don't wanna hear "Why did you do this?" as if this is some sort of cartoon or some drama. He's most likely to ask me that. Tch, how did I even like that annoying prick. But I guess my emotions about him are like Schrödinger's cat, one time I adore him but the second half just makes me want to punch his teeth out."

She kept drinking her tea, essentially just thinking about the stuff she is gonna do if they capture "the stargazer".

Both had the feeling they were on the other side of the conquested canal. Shit is about to go north. To the northern north.
