These questions have been answered by: thebluesatchel.

1. What is the title of your story?

A. The Rising.

2. What is the genre of the story?

A. Mystery and teen fiction.

3. Can you give us the summary to your story?

A. Lana Morell is thrown sideways into a world full of hidden lies and unspoken secrets. Before Lana was born, something was created within her being, woven into her mind and now sixteen years later, they want it back. In a battle with two sides, will Lana discover the truth or will she find reality in the middle?
Secrets. Lies. Will the truth come out or will Lana be forced to choose?

4. What gave you inspiration and ideas for this story?

A. I'm not entirely sure. It was one idea after another that created this story but I think it mainly came from my fascination on how the brain is split into two parts: Creative (Right) and Logic (Left).

5. Why do you think that your story is good for people to read?

A. 'The Rising' had an underlined theme of identity and finding it which we all go through at some stage. There are a lot of plot twists, some of which I've already added without the reader's knowledge. This book will have you guessing till the last sentence.

6. What helps you to stay motivated when writing your story?

A. I set myself a time limit of two weeks. If it's coming close to the two weeks, I sit down until I come up with a good idea.

7. How do you feel when a bad comment is posted on your story? Anything to say to those haters?

A. I check over my work if they've given me advice on a specific part or character, but if they say they don't like it in general I don't really mind as they're entitled to their opinion.

8. Lastly, anything to say to those who read your story?

A. Thank you, it honestly means a lot to me. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I will writing it and as always, comment. Ellie.
