"Daehwi! Where did you go?!"

Daehwi flinched after hearing his father call out to him. He only just took one step back in this house where his father is always here till night. Daehwi was about to continue up and ignore his father but that plan went died quick. He was only next to the stairs till a bottle smashed against the wall making him stop in his place.

"I asked you a question, don't ignore me and go in your bedroom to avoid me. Answer the god damn question!"

He continues, as what Daehwi can tell, his father drunk of course. The amount of beer and soju laying around is obvious. Only a few more hours till his father leaves to go to the club. He took a deep breath before saying his obvious answer.

"I came from school?"

Daehwi flinches again after hearing his father kick the table by the tv.

"School ended an hour ago! Where did you go after huh? Don't fucking lie!"

"I had tutoring!"

"Tutoring? Who paid huh? Did you take my money for that shit? No wonder where all my money had gone off too."

Daehwi was confused about the money, he never recalled finding money and take it. He was never going to teach himself that way ever. He was going to run up but forgetting about the broken glass, he stepped on it and fell on the steps of the stairs with both of his feet dying from the pain. He crawls up slowly but was grabbed by his ankle from his father.

"I knew your mother wouldn't treat you right. Because of her, I'm stuck in this poor household with you. The aborting idea wasn't even a bad idea when I told her you know? You weren't even suppose to exist in this world!"

His father continues as he dragged Daehwi towards the living room and threw him against the ground. Daehwi only response to his father's abuse was to ball up and cover his head the best he can.

Pang

Pang

Daehwi's waist hurts badly from the amount of pain from his father's belt. He wants to cover that spot but he only worries that he would get hit in the head hard enough till he stops breathing. The beating doesn't stop till his father gives up and head out to drink. After hearing the door slams shut, Daehwi relaxed as he sat up. He doesn't know how he would get the glass out of his feet with his bare hands. Remembering his hidden packed first aid around the living room, he looked under one of the sofa and dug it out. He sighed in relief glad he prepared this.

"Ah, there still will be some small glass that I can't see.. oh well, removing these should help me in walking a bit at least..."

Daehwi said quietly as he started to bend one of his legs to look at the bottom of his feet. Surely was bloody and messy, he took a pair of pliers and slowly started to remove the glass painlessly as possible. After one, he grabbed the rolls of bandage and wrapped over his half cleaned foot before starting on the second foot doing the same process. He cleaned up his mess and hide away the first aid kit in the same spot before attempting to stand up. He leaned against the sofa as he moved slowly. He decided to go out on a quick walk or possibly visit a friend that is at work. He wore his shoes carefully then walked out trying so hard to not give in on the endless pain.

Jinyoung was listening to music while he was doing some shopping for his family. The streets was nearly empty as the sidewalks. As he was waiting on the crosswalk light to change, he noticed another boy's school uniform nearby. He wants to go over after realizing the way he was walking, but the lights was making it easier for him. He also doesn't want his parents to worry about his whereabouts and why he came back so late. As the crosswalk light changes, he decided to give up the opportunity and head back home.

"Yeah, I'll find him tomorrow. Good idea, now eomma and father won't worry."

He spoke to himself as he took a turn to run into a man. He bowed quickly and apologized, he already knows that the person was drunk because of his dirty stained clothing.

"Mian sir, I didn't see you standing there."

"Oh yeah... surely you don't see me standing here in this dark night..."

Jinyoung stayed quiet as he hurried to step beside the person and walk off. Not wanting any commotion with drunk people. Few more minutes and Jinyoung is home. He opened the door and saw his love, Jihoon, talking with his parents.

"Ah, Jinyoung-ssi, hello~"

Jihoon sang when he saw the latter, Jinyoung smiled back in response and to his parents who looked at him warmly. Jinyoung went to the kitchen and put away everything in the fridge, Jihoon came and helped him as the parents were getting ready for bed.

"Say, your parents are very sweet. No wonder where you get those attitudes from."

"It's good to be sweet huh?"

Jinyoung spoke up which led Jihoon to feel flustered, Jinyoung chuckles once he saw the other reaction.

"When would you tell your parents about our relationship.? I mean my parents know and such, wouldn't it be better if the other parents knows?"

"I don't know, we've been hiding the relationship during school too. And to talk about the lgbt community there is most likely to get hurt. I don't know how my parents would react if I tell them, I surely don't want them to feel displeased."

Jihoon nodded in understanding to Jinyoung's reasoning. He back hugged the latter as Jinyoung finishes up his work in the kitchen.

"When we graduate, lets move somewhere far from home."

"And live in peace where we won't be judged by anyone."
