Lost and Found || JINHWI

Jinyoung carried bags of food as he was really preparing a whole feast for the other. He met the security guard and greeted him politely. The guard allowed him in since the nurse informed him the plan for the night. He continued back to the nurse building and went inside. He looked through the window of Daehwi's room to see the latter laying on the ground.

"Daehwi!"

He partially shouted as he barged through the door. He dropped the food and slide beside Daehwi, he picked up the latter and noticed the floor was covered in blood. He looked around to see a bloody scissor scattered across from his position. He found a new freshly made wound on Daehwi's wrist.

"Dang it, I only left you for 30 minutes and you do this to yourself?"

Jinyoung picked up Daehwi and carried him knowing that he couldn't do anything to treat his new wound. He rushed out of the school grounds with the guard watching carefully as he rushed to a nearby hospital that would be open. It was a good run as Jinyoung ran inside the ER room with the doctors and nurses staring at him.

"Ma'am, he.. he cut himself deeply in the wrist.."

The nurse took a look before leading Daehwi to a empty bed. Jinyoung lowered him, he stepped back as a doctor came to check on the wound. The same nurse that led him there then started to speak to him.

"Where did you find him? Did you know why he do that?"

"We both go to the same school, he was already being treated back at the nurse's building because he was soaked in water and passed out. I went to visit him after school and waited for him to wake up. He was slowly recovering that time and it was getting late and he had nothing to eat, so I decided to go out and get him something to eat. When I came back, I found him laying on the ground with blood all around him."

Jinyoung explained as the nurse nodded, the doctor sighed as he stood up.

"He was very, very close. The amount of damage he done to himself would have already been lost, for now, all we can do now is repair this. Is there something else?"

The doctor asked as he looked at Jinyoung, Jinyoung examined Daehwi then pointed at both his hand and foot. The doctor looked to see dirty bandages on those spots. He picked up a pair of scissors and slowly started to cut the bandages to see the old wounds. The doctor sigh at this sight, he decided to call in more of his companions.

"He will be needing stitches, inform the nurses about this patient if you may."

The doctor said as a request to Jinyoung, Jinyoung nods as he went to follow the nurse to the front desk. The doctor closed the curtain as it was Jinyoung's last time seeing Daehwi for the night. Jinyoung only gave the nurse his name since it was really all he know about him. It took them some time to find Daehwi's data with the lack of information that Jinyoung have. Even after getting the info, he was given the option to go home or stay. Of course being the worry person he is, he waited till Daehwi was transferred to the room. Jinyoung waited and waited not caring whether his phone was ringing or buzzing. Of course he had to pick it up as people who was waiting staring at him.

"Hello?"

"Where are you Bae Jinyoung?!"

His mother shouts as he pulled his phone away to avoid his ears going deaf.

"Eomma-"

"Bae Jinyoung! Answer me!"

"I'm at a hospital..."

"What?! Why? Are you sick? Are you hurt?"

As if Jinyoung had predicted, his overprotective mother is active now and he can't avoid that.

"No, I'm fine. I'm here because someone I met is suicidal.."

Jinyoung mentioned as the other line remained silent as if he was talking to a wall.

"I won't be able to come home tonight, I'll be fine. See you tomorrow okay? Okay, bye bye."

Jinyoung said quickly and hung up the phone, he let out a sigh of relief and laid back against his chair. That time, it right as soon as the doctor came out from behind the curtains and approached Jinyoung.

"Your friend there will be fine, he will need to stay here to recover. Do you know a way that we can contact his parents?"

"Uh.. doctor... can I request this once for his safety..?"

"Go ahead."

"Don't contact his parents, for now forward, I will be the one watching over him. I don't know him well yet but I know something isn't right with his parents."

"So what I'm hearing is child abuse?"

"Yes sir.."

"Ah, alright then. Well, you can follow your friend to his room. Also inform us if he wakes up."

"Yes sir. Thank you."

He bowed in thanks to the doctor as the doctor nods and walked passed to do his work. Jinyoung stood back up and went to follow Daehwi's bed that was being rolled out to a hall. Jinyoung examined Daehwi's condition to see the bandages covering the stitches on all 3 spots.

"Why did you suddenly decided to go suicidal? What did you think of when I was gone? Other than the obvious, doing this is crazy for someone who is like you."

Jinyoung thought as he glare at Daehwi, they were then inside of a room. The lights were dim to where Jinyoung can still see. His phone buzzed and he took it out to see a message from Jihoon.

Winky:
Where are you?

Jinyoung sighs before just going straight forward, he never thought that he would message him.

Small Head:
At the hospital watching over Daehwi, why?

Winky:
Ah wow you're still with that guy? Didn't you wanted me to believe that you're not even dating him?

Small Head:
Time is not now.. what do you want me to do when someone almost killed themselves? Just let them be and die? Do you want me to be that person?
