The Battle

"You want to make him an apprentice?" Tsunade said and Ibiki nodded.

"He's has expressed interest in becoming an apprentice, I would like to see what he's capable of." Ibiki said and Hizuren stood behind Tsunade.

"Watch him in the second part, you'll see just how he is, judge accordingly however." Hizuren said as they watched from the crystal ball.

Naruto and Shikamaru were already in the forest, walking together. Hand and hand they searched for Inari, however they came upon Anko first. Naruto knew she was apart of this, she reeked entirely of snake, something Orochimaru smelled like, but Inari didn't smell Orochimaru so she must've followed Orochimaru instead.

"You know, I never really understood what Inari saw in you." Anko rambled and Naruto tilted his head.

"You are cute, but I'm far better. Plus he's a hunk of a man to only be thirty two. I would gladly give him children." Anko stood there rambling and Kami was Naruto so annoyed.

"Can you shut the hell up?" Shikamaru snapped and Naruto stood there, his arms folded as he watched Shikamaru.

"God you are a fucking nuisance, we are here to kill Inari because he wants my fucking mate, as well as made my mates life a living hell as well as killing my clan." Shikamaru said pulling out a Kunai.

"What is your obsession with Inari anyways?" Naruto asked wondering if she was mental, she sure as hell was acting like it.

"He's obsessed with the wrong person." She said and dodge a Kunai that Shikamaru threw, Naruto stood there and looked to Shikamaru.

"I got it, handle Inari. He's south from here, near a river, he might be a water user then." Naruto spoke lowly and Shikamaru nodded, giving Naruto a kiss before taking to the tree's. Naruto turned back to Anko and she was laughing madly.

"Do you seriously think you can defeat me alone." Naruto shrugged tying his hair up, while tilting his head.

"You won't even take half my chakra, now I never really use this since it is proof of my relation to that woman." Naruto started as he did some hand signs, summoning a fox. The fox has a beautiful gold like katana, with Naruto's initials at the handle.

"I've always tried to make my self unrelated
To that woman, however she did bless me with a lot skill, so I suppose that should help me." Naruto held the Katana to his side and smile.

"You are the first to ever see the fox sword in actions." Naruto push chakra to his initials and his sent out a wave of his red chakra giving him a red chakra cloak.

"Make sure you cherish this even in death." Naruto said running to Anko, sword in hand.

Shikamaru made it to the water, he gazed upon the water and it reminded him of Naruto's eyes, then he remembered the time where he was an asshole and almost lost Naruto. He then turned when he heard footsteps, he saw Inari, and he was glowing. Shikamaru rolled his eyes.

"You know I've been watching you, and I'm actually disgusted." Inari said and Shikamaru stood there smoking a cigarette.

"You being the one to mark my beloved, Kami I've had my eyes on him since he was twelve. You deer disgust me." Shikamaru tilted his head, and allowed him to keep talking.

"You clans crazy obsession with deer, and Matsu being a deer demon it was making my nose bleed for years, does it look like I like deer? I do however love foxes." Shikamaru smirked and shook his head.

"I had my eye on Kurama, but then I saw those blue eyes on Naruto and I wanted him to be my mate, when I saw those blue eyes grow brighter each day, I wanted him, so I married his mother and placed a live eating seal on her, she's dying and thankfully soon, she'll be dead, you'll be dead and Naruto will be all mines." Shikamaru rolled his eyes and tossed his cigarette.

"You should've heard your mother beg for your life as I annihilated her and your clan, the blood of the deer was so pleasing to my body and my skin." Shikamaru took the holder out of his hair and hummed.

"I'm at peace, I used to be so hateful, so angry, and so distant for anybody I cared about. I've seen bloodshed at eleven, I met my mate at seventeen and ignored him at first. However Naruto's is an enigma, and never let me leave his sight, constantly cared for me he's fucking perfect." Shikamaru grabbed chakra blades that lit green and he smiled.

"I can forgive the transgressions against my clan, that's no issues, the issues is you trying to take my mate from me." Shikamaru laughed as he ran at Inari with the blades glowing green.

"You see, I'm going to let you in on a secret." Shikamaru swung his fist as Inari dodged, Inari was blocking as the chakra scrapped his cheek. Inari started bleeding a little.

"Naruto is carrying my children, so believe me when I say, that as his dominant, I'm not allowing any hurt to come of him, nor am I dying anytime soon, my mother and Naruto will curse me out in the next life." Shikamaru replied as he kicked Inari into the gut.

Inari spat out blood and chuckled looking at Shikamaru.

"You are fucking dead."

However in the hospital, Tsunade was called on an emergency patient, once she reached the room, and she looked on the bed she gasped, she immediately ran over and Kurama stood there, hand on his belly.

"Matsu took the seal off, and her life force is barely there. There's nothing I can do for her." Kurama said and Tsunade ran a hand over Kushina, Kushina opened her eyes and looked at Kurama, grabbing his hand.

"I was never nice to you, but thank you for taking care of my son." Kushina started crying as she looked at the ceiling.

"I was a mother from hell, and I didn't even know, I was a monster for sixteen years, Kami he must hate me." Kushina was crying and Tsunade finished her exam.

"You aren't going to make it, when Kurama was free you should've died then, you however just lost your ability to produce any more chakra, with the seal that was eating your chakra and altering your mind, was meant to kill you, and it succeeded. You however survived fourteen years a feat only a Uzumaki could ever do." Tsunade sighed.

"You are a wonderful kuniochi Kushina, and I'm sure Naruto will understand." Tsunade spike and Kurama nodded.

"I will let him know, although he knew you had a seal when you all sat down for dinner that one day." Kurama said and Kushina sighed.

"Minato is going to kill me, I can only hope he forgive me. I was so happy to see those blue eyes on Naruto, god I wish I could apologize, I wish I could see he face as his mother, I just wish I wasn't stupid and fell for Inari's ruse, I'd never love anybody other than Minato." Kushina was starting to breathe shallow, she smiled and nodded.

"Please Tell Naruto I'm so sorry, Tsunade I want my son to have all my money. He is my legacy." Kushina breathing slowed and the monitor flatlined.

She was gone.
