On our way to the monastery, the three students, Robin, Cloud, and Evangeline, were conversing themselves about their encounter with last nights events.
As they were talking, Byleth just walk silently with them, not minding their conversation until Cloud said something that caught the other two's attenion, "Hey Byleth, how did you know that someone was targeting Angel in a short while, we thought that no one was following us back when we were asking for your guys help." as he said that, the other two turned their heads to us, curious as to what my answer is. "While the three of you explain your situation, I saw movement around the corner of my eye and its movement proves to me that it was not an animal." I answered, though it was a basic skill that I learn from my father, it proves itself useful when in comes to things such as the bandit encounter "Wait...the bandit was hiding himself from the trees right? So how did you notice him especially at night? It is difficult to see in the dark at night without a torch or a source of light" Robin said with curiosity and amazement, "I agree, I even tried to find my things in the dark and I still can't see" Cloud exclaim, though it seems that he and Robin are quite facinated by me,"Will you two please give her some personal space, we can talk to her about everything later, we are almost at the momastery." Evangeline said as if she's scolding the as her little brothers.
As what Evangeline said, we are nearly in view of the monastery, it was a beautiful sight, so this is were my father trained, it's lovely, but as beautiful as it is, somehow I feel uneasy of the place, and somehow I can't help but feel as if I know this place before.
As we enter the gates, I walk beside my father to asked something, but he stop walking for a moment and look up, stop along side him and look at his expression "Luna's here" he said with his monotone voice, but I can't help but wonder, his voice has a hidden tone or a meaning when he said that, I look up to see who he was looking at, and saw a woman, staring at us from below her balcony, she has a wavy, light green hair that goes from her back, as i look closely, her eyes are also light green, when first saw this woman, for a moment I thought she looks familiar, then the image of my dream appeared in my mind, she does look like the female warrior from my dream, then I shook my head a little bit then told my father that we need to go, my father turn his head to me then give me a small smile the nod his head, we then look forward and continue our walk, inside the monastery.
As we enter, we saw a lot of students here, and a lot of knights, mages and others, I also saw the three students from before, approaching me, smiling in excitement, and gratitude, "Once again, I thank you for aiding us with the bandits and saving me so many times, there is nothing esle to say other than to thank you for your kindness" Evangeline said with as smile of gratitude and happiness, though she tried to hide her smile, she still made a smile that the two would not have seen before "Oh wow, Angel you're smiling!? Ha! Who would of thought that there will be a day I get to see you smiling so brightly, I guess your her knight in shining armor huh Byleth" Cloud said in amusement then did a wink at me in a friendly manner, "I agree with Cloud, you should smile more often, Evangeline, it looks lovely on you" Robin compliment her, ang give her a gentle smile, as of thought, Evangeline realize what she was doing and started to feel embarrassed from the two boys, complimenting or teasing her, "Did she not realize she was smiling?" I thought, then Evangeline said "I-I was just t-thanking her f-for saving me a couple of t-times, w-what's wrong with that!?" it seems that she's beyond embarrassed as her face was a color of an apple or other words, a tomato. Then Cloud wrap his arm around my neck then gave me a smile then a wink, saying "Well, your not the only one who needs to thank her for saving us, you know, me and Robin have to thank her as well" "I agree with him, we, too want to thank her for assisting us with those bandits from before" Robin agreed with Cloud, facing to me and gabe me a smile, Evangeline then compose herself, feeling calm and relaxed, I then heard my father calling me "Hey kid!" I turn around to see my father staring at me with the three, then said that I need to meet someone important, "Well, looks like your called,well then, I hope to see you around then, you are going to have good time here at the monastery, especially the Shepherds Academy" Cloud said then remove his arm around me then the three of them are off to go do other duties, as they walk by, I can't help but wonder, even when they are smiling so brightly...
... Why is it that I sense darkness behind their eyes...
