Its been a week since Byleth started teaching the Golden Mountains, thanks to her fellow professors, and her mother guiding her, she was able to make most of her lessons interesting enough for her students to pay attention. She, being quite a blunt and being stern to her students, she doesn't realize that while she was teaching them, some of her students were not paying attention to the lesson, but rather, your face and tone of your voice. Though Byleth voice is calming, they were shock that you became emotionless in a matter of second that you started the lesson. Almost every student in the house were shock, all but Cloud.
When it was time for lunch, Byleth ended her lesson and dismiss her students, as some of them left, Byleth stayed for a while because one or two of her students were asking for advice or help for their studies, the rest left to go to the dinner hall. When they all reach there and have their meal, Lorenz, Violet, Ralph, Rainer, Lauren, and Mira sat on a table next to each other. At first it was just a small chat, here and there, but suddenly, Mira brought a topic that caught the attention of others, "Oh! Have you guys ever notice how strange the professor acted during her lesson?" Mira asked, as they all face her with a confused look, "What do you mean Mira?" Violet asked in confusion, same with the other, well except for Cloud, who is hiding his smirk behind his drink, listening to the conversation. "Well even when speak, she always seem emotionless everytime we see her during discussion, we never see her making another expression other than the first meeting! Like she's a doll or something! Don't you guys think so too?" Mira said, trying to give out a point, made the rest of the table think. "I don't know Mira, she seems fine he way before, I guess she only express her emotions when we're having a break." Lauren said that gain Cloud's attention, and it seems that he is not the only one. "Wait what do you mean during our break?" Lorenz asked, getting interested from their teacher. "Well, I saw her out of our classroom two days ago." she started to explain.
*flashback*
Lauren was looking for her favorite spot in the Monastery garden were she can read her books in peace, but when she did, she saw Byleth sitting on one of the chairs in the patio, that patio was surrounded but the plants that covers them in a shade, it small but its comfortable and peaceful, that is the favorite spot that Lairen always go during her breaks, that is until the professor found the spot and had some small tea. Lauren was shock to see Byleth having a calm smile. As Lauren observe, she notice that Byleth was more relaxed and peaceful, like she has all the time in the world. If she didn't know any better, she would never believe that she's a mercenary, along with her father, Herald. Byleth could sense that Lauren was staring at her, she open her eyes and made eye contact with her, Lauren, was not expected her to be caught, was suprised by this sudden action "Hello Lauren, would you like to join me for some tea?" Byleth offered, Lauren was hesitant at first but seeing this may be a good opportunity to get to know her better, she agreed, the patio has only two chairs and its under a shade so its seems the two will enjoy their love time under some tea.

"So we talk a little bit more and got to know each other, apperantly she wasn't sure if she did the right thing to do when she was teaching, she was anxious that was wasn't giving it her all, but I told her that everything she give to us are enought so yeah that's how she is Mira" after what explain to everyone on the table, she then started to scold Mira, "Mira, if you're trying to spread false rumors or gossip about it, especially bad ones about the professor, I suggest that do your own research and stop being a spoiled brat, now if you excuse me" Lauren stood up and and grab her meal and went somewhere else, this of course made Mira annoyed but seems she misunderstood why Lauren, scolded her for making false rumors. "What?! Wait I not trying to spread false rumors, or even any gossip! I was trying to talk about it!" she then starts a little tantrum then pout. The others look at her with a look as if something is so obvious but she doesn't get it, everyone knows that She is the one who always starts spreading false rumors and gossips, for the past couple of years of hearing this made him and everyone at school hate her, and even the two house representative found it really irritating. So for this moment made everyone on the table physically and mentally facepalm at her idiocy and spoiled brat attitude. "Well nevermind that, where is Lauren going?" Ralph said wanting to know where his childhood friend is, his cousin, Rainer said in thought "Maybe on the patio that she meet the professor." "Alright! Once we're done eating, let's go look for those two" everyone agrees, and Mira reluctant but agrees to find the two.
When the six students finished and cleaned their plates, the went to that garden to find the professor and Lauren, Cloud found them and called his friends to come see. And it is in fact true that both Lauren and Byleth enjoyed each others company, so peacefull and quite. Both Lauren and Byleth talk to each other over some tea, smiling, but what made the others shock was that the smile came from Byleth, what everyone in the class thought to be emotionless, was now smiling and enjoying their time. Byleth in the other hand, notice that almost her whole. Class was here, hiding. Of course she wants them to join, even if they don't have enough tea cups to pass ,she decides to have them come here for a chat, she told Lauren to stop for a while and turn to the class, who were trying but failed to be sneaking, "I know guys are hiding" as soon as she said that, they all flinch and sweat a little, being found out by their teacher, it was not what they had expected when the next thing Byleth said was "Why don't you all join us? We might not have enough snacks or some more tea cups, but thought you guys would like to talk for a while during break" Lauren, being shock at her classmates sneaking at them, was even more shocked that her professor invited them, knowing we dont have that much food or tea. Everyone was quite hesitant but the first one to reply was Cloud "Alright, alright you got is there teach, I guess having some small chat wouldn't hurt" he was the first one to come out of hiding and went next to Byleth, sitting on the grass next to her, soon everyone, including Mira join in.
Soon everyone started to chat and made some fun memories, and told some stories, having much fun. Herald, who was patrolling along side his friend Louise, saw his daughter, smiling and laughing, he was happy to see his daughter express so much happiness. Her mother's spirit, watch as Byleth talk and interact to them in a good way. Robin was so happy, and was never this happy before other than marring her husband, she felt herself in tears, she wipe her tears as she watch from the sidelines, this small break became a hangout for the Golden Mountain house.
