Dylan's POV-

I started gaining conscience when waking up. I didn't want to go to the packs meeting. Although, I would get to see Levi. The pros and cons were going around in my head, my dad is forcing me to go whether I like it or not.

I move around and lay on my back, my eyes still shut tight, to block out the light. I let out a groan, not wanting to move from the bed I was currently laid on. I wanted to see Levi, but I don't think he wants to see me. But, yesterday he did say that I could hang out with him. What's so bad about that? Isn't that what is supposed to happen when you go to a packs meeting? Hang out with others that aren't in your pack.

I started thinking if Levi would even want to be seen with me. I know he is a loner, which kinda scares me, but, the better question is, do my friends want to see me with such a loser? It freaks me out to think that my friends don't want him around any of us.

I draw my back from the comfort of my bed and stretch. I reach over to my bed and grab my phone. I had a message from Levi, probably something about the 'meeting.' I get up and walk to the bathroom to take a shower. I maybe should of replied to Levi, but, I wasn't feeling it.

I take a 5 minute shower and walk out of the bathroom with a towel around my waist. I dig through my drawers and pick some decent clothing. Black jeans, converse, and a baby blue button down. I place my glasses on the bridge of my nose and walk downstairs. Yes, I do wear glasses, just not all the time.

The pack house was not a big house, just a typical small, 5 bedroom and 3 bathroom house. I have lived here my whole life, this pack has been my family my whole life.

"Dylan! Where is your ass! We gotta be going in 5 minutes!" My dad yelled from bottom of the stairs.

"Kitchen Alpha." I respond, not in a yelling manner.

"Why are you in here?" He questions me.

"I was grabbing breakfast. Can I not, Alpha?" I gulped, not sure if this was a right decision to back talk my dad.

"Son, we will be having breakfast there. Just, go brush your teeth and come back down here." My dad responds.

I nod my head and go to my room. I head over to my nightstand and grab my phone. The one time I actually look at the message Levi sent me.

'Hey, I might be running late, you can hang out with your buds. See you there. :)'

Something didn't sit right. After rethinking it, I shrug my shoulders and walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

My dad and I arrive at the 'meeting.' To be honest, it wasn't a meeting, it was a get together for all the packs on the land. In total, there are 9 packs. I get out of the car and head to greet my mom. She left early to help set up. I look around and see a few familiar faces, from school, some actual meetings, and around the streets.

One head I did see was Levi's. He said he was going to be late? My stomach dropped. He lied to me. I blink in realization that, he doesn't want to be seen by me. Why did he ask if we could hang out? To make sure I'm here and not... hitting on other people? Maybe not that one.

I hesitantly walk over to Levi and tap his shoulder. I jumps slightly and turns around to looks me in the face.

"Oh, I didn't, know you would be here this early." Levi breathed.

"Yeah, what was that message about? Hm?" I raise my eyebrows.

"I-I thought I was going to be late, but I was here on time, I guess." Levi said, scratching the back of my head. "C-Can we please just, go and have fun?"

"Sure," I sigh, "I never, got to tell you this but, the reason why I have been talking to you all these years is because, I want to get to know you. You seem like a really good person, and I mean it." I said, spilling the words from my heart.

"No, you don't want to be friends with someone like me. I don't have any, why would you want to be my friend?" Levi asks. His eyes told something different than what his voice did... I just couldn't place it.

"Yes you do. I thought we were gonna go and, 'have fun.'" I smirk, imitating what he said earlier.

"Come on." Levi said, grabbing me by the arm and walking towards food, which by the way, smelled really good.

Levi and I hung out the whole time. Laughing our asses off to, talking like an actual couple. Levi kept telling me stories about his life and what not.

I loved this side of Levi. It was something the shone a light in my heart. He was funny, sweet and cute.

"Do you know who your mate is?" I blurt out.

"Um... N-No, I d-don't." Levi said.

"When is your birthday?" I ask.

"December 16th." Levi says.

"Oh. Mine is-"

"December 19th, I know." Levi butted in.

"H-How did you know?" I ask, shocked.

"Well, I'm pretty sure the whole school knows. Your popular and well a jock to say that." Levi said, and glanced up at me. "No offense to you tho."

"None taken." I was glad he said, 'no offense,' cause I would've taken serious offense to that.

"Well, I gotta go. It was really great to hang out with you, Dyl." Levi smirks.

The things he does to me when he calls me, Dyl. "It was great hanging out with you too, Lev." I smile.
