"Can I train with you, please?! I want to be a hero just like Touya!"

"No. Touya trains alone. Let's go, Touya." My father said.

I saw Tenko frown. "But I want to train with Touya so we can be a hero together!"

My father glared at Tenko then looked over to me.

"Let's go, Touya." He repeated as he held his hand out so I could grab it.

I hesitated but I still grabbed it, "Bye, Tenko.." We began to walk away.

"Bye, Touya. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" I heard Tenko yell.

I didn't respond nor did I look back.

"I told you to stop going to that park. You aren't like those kids. You are close to a masterpiece."

"Why can't I have some friends?!"

"Friends are a waste of time! You have to focus on training!"

"I don't want to train!"

My father pushed me inside the training room, "You are going to train right now! Now pull out your flames!"

I obeyed and pulled out my flames.

Since I barely got my quirk, they weren't that big and strong like fathers. They were tiny and weak.

"Try to make them bigger and stronger."

I tried to make them bigger but it hurt.

"I-It hurts..."

"You're weak! Try harder!"

I tried.

And tried.

"It hurts!"

"We aren't stopping until you get them bigger."

As I tried my hardest, I saw my mother peak through the door.
