Chapter 2 - The Road Trip

DIPPER
It's Saturday. Mable is not up yet. 7:00 am is what we agreed on. It's 7:30 am.

"Mable! Get up!" I yell at her. She just twisted and turn.

"5 more minutes." She tells me. Now I'm getting really angry!

"YoU sAiD tHaT.... 20 MINUTES AGO!" I shout at her. She instantly got up, she rub her eyes and stretch a little.

"Want me to drive the first half?" She asks sleepily. I throw a pillow at her.

"Ask me that after you get ready." I said angrily. She gets off the bed and goes to the bathroom.

"Go outside without me nerd." She tells me joking. I laugh a little.

"I'll be by the car stupid." I said. I start heading outside.

"Dipper!" Mable shouts before I get out the door.

"What?" I asked turning around.

"Do you have money?" She wonders.

"I should have some, why?" I asked her.

"I'm asking because we might need it for gas. Don't worry I also have money." Mable continued to get ready. I grin a little and went out the door.

"You sure you wanna drive?" I ask worriedly. Mable builds her seat bet and puts her hand on the wheel.

"I'm sure Dipper.  I did a little better on our divers test than you." She tells me.

"That maybe true but I'm worried about you driving more than anything in my life." I tell her. I'm holding my journal. Writing my last words

"More than Gravity Falls almost destroyed? More than Bill Cypher?" She wonders. Bill Cypher? Why does my heart beat really fast when I hear his name.

I blush a little after hearing his name. "No... at the moment is your driving!" I shout. Mable start driving ignoring me. Our car is a Ford SUV.

I start writing my last words. Telling my wishes that would never come true. I don't pay attention on where we are going.

"Do you want anything Dipper?" Mable wonders. I look up and see that she stopped by a fast food. I look at the menu. 

"I'll get coffee." I tell her. She smiles a little and starts ordering whatever she wants. I guess as I grew older, drinking coffee was no big deal. After Mable pays for the order. She puts in a cd.

"What CD did you put in?" I asked her. She smiles telling me that I have to wait and see. It was "Several Times"  I turn to see her face. She sings along.

"I thought you were over them?" I ask questionably.

"Sometimes, you gotta hear some old favorites." Mable smiles sadly. Before I could say anything, our order is here. Mable hands me my coffee. She had a iced coffee, pancakes and a harsh brown.

"Can we change the song?" I asked nicely. She looks over to me and sadly smiles.

"Sure! You can pick!" She tells me. She turns her eyes back to the road. Since I asked, I feel bad that she feels sad now.....

I put on a random song on. I rest my head on the window. I watch how we enter the woods. I close my eyes. Forgetting about everything.

"Pine tree...." a voice calls out. My heart beats fast as he says my name. I don't know his face. He brings his face close to me. His lips touches mine. This feeling.... it's like I felt it before..

MABLE
Dipper falls asleep. He didn't finish his coffee. I open my window. It's gonna be a while. I turn off the music Dipper picked. He probably didn't know what to pick. I smile a little. There is a reason why I suddenly wanted to come back to Gravity Falls.

I wanted Dipper to see Bill Cypher. I know he misses him. More like he forgot about him. Bill better be thankful I'm doing this for the both of them. I sighed a little.

"Bill..." Dipper mumbles. I look over to him. He think about Bill(😏) I think their ship name will be BillDip.

I turn off the music. Theres a traffic. I look over at my brother who's sleeping peacefully.

"Sorry Dipper. Must be worried about me. Don't worry about me okay?" I tell him. My phone starts ringing. It's........

"Hello?" I answers.

"Hey, when will be here?" They wonder. I laugh a little.

"Don't worry, we will be there soon." I said back. I hear from the phone a little grin.

"He's sleeping right now." I said suddenly making them jump a little.

"Send me a picture!" They tell me.

"Do it when you spend time with him. I have to go. Bye!" I said. I hang up before they can talk. This summer will be fun!
