Tori walked into school the next day not knowing what to expect.

The silence was so thick now that it felt like a chill was going through the school. Everyone giving each other the cold shoulder, especially Beck and Jade with Cat and Robbie. She saw Beck and Jade walking to her locker which was right beside Robbie's where Cat and Robbie were walking.

They came face to face, but Cat and Jade didn't look up from their phones.

Beck opened Jade's locker and stood in front of Robbie's locker. He just stood there, with his arms crossed, so Robbie couldn't get to his locker.

Robbie put his hands on his hips and rolled his eyes, but he didn't speak.

They both just stared at each other as Beck got Jade's books out of her locker, then he slammed it. The only sound to be heard in the vacant halls of Hollywood Arts. Tori heard it echo and looked around realizing that when the two couples came in all the other students had vanished, most likely hiding somewhere or they just walk to their classes so quietly that it was like they had disappeared.

Beck took Jade's hand and pulled her to walk with him to class then Robbie opened his locker to get his things.

Tori gulped when Cat finally looked up from her phone at Robbie. She didn't know what Cat was going to do, she couldn't see Cat's face since she was facing Robbie and had her back to Tori, but the look on Robbie's face when he turned to look at her was sympathetic and sorrowful, as if someone important to Cat had died and he didn't know what to say to make her feel better. He took her into his arms and held her for a moment.

Tori heard the bell like a loud siren and it made her jump a little. The school was so quiet that the bell to get to class sounded like the nuclear war air raid sirens they had in the 50s that she heard on an old film her dad has.

She took a moment to steady her breathing then she looked back over to see Cat and Robbie were gone.

Everyone was so quiet that it seemed like they were vanishing quickly instead of walking slowly to class.
