I turned to Cinder who had a stoic expression but deep within her eyes held amazement. I huffed and turned to her dragging the sword behind me as I stood in front of her, "time to go."

She closed her eyes and turned her back to me before starting to walk, "I would prefer if you wouldn't drag your weapon around. It'll make it harder to sneak you into the warehouse." Cinder gazed at me from over her shoulder, "once you find a scabbard head over to the back of the castle where the portal is waiting."

Raising the handle up, I examined the size of my weapon noticing it's two thirds my size. My weakened Nevermore wings still don't have the strength to grant me flight as of yet so I'll put them to use. Angling it slightly, I slid the sword down my back, in-between the wings, and waited for the hollow bones to wrap around it and press it against my back. I rolled my back and shifted it until I wouldn't have to worry about getting scratched from the bladed sides. "No need."

"Seems like you're also resourceful," Cinder said having watch the display. "We'll just head straight there then. While we're walking I'll lay down some rules for you such as not eating certain kinds of human or faunus and not going on random rampages."

I huffed at the rules already knowing better than to revert to my Grimm instincts. I trained too hard and long to disappoint the Queen like that. I pressed my ears against the mask and tried to mentally prepare myself for all the things she's going to state.

Time Skip brought to you by chibi Grimm cornered by a T posing Cinder

I emerged from the portal and was greeted by the silence of the woods. It was a sharp contrast from all the rules Cinder laid out for me. All thirty-eight rules and most of them sounded like repeats. I even think that the first ten was legitimate but she noticed how annoyed I was getting and added more to it. The urge to snap my jaws around her throat seemed almost beneficial than joining her on this mission.

Speaking of the she-devil, she walked out of the portal with a smug look on her face as our only entrance to the Queen's castle shut behind her. "My guards could have been waiting out here ready to shoot you since I didn't walk out."

I narrowed my eyes and sniffed the air only finding my brethren and a few ground walkers around these parts, "I could have... used a snack before... the trip. I would have... at most killed three." I finished off with a grin knowing that it would cause a negative response.

She only shook her head, "and if one of those were the pilot it would be even harder to sneak you in." With that said, she walked past me head in the direction of the ground walkers I sniffed out. I simply followed her without a word due to the fact that I was mentally celebrating on my second chance being on the outside world again. The same place the female had nearly killed me so long ago. If I find her I'll make sure to make her suffer for the pain and humiliation she caused me.

While I was picturing all of the deliciously gruesome things I can do I failed to realize the transport vehicle was right in front of me with the sweet smell of fear protruding my nose. I blinked and saw ground walkers with animal traits applied to them bearing white masks similar to my brethren. I noticed the only reason they hadn't gunned me down was because of Cinder standing in front of me proudly. Like I was her tamed pet Grimm.

"Put them down unless it will have a reason to feed," Cinder warned eyeing the soldiers' fear stricken faces. Though none of them followed her orders too afraid of being pounced on.

She sighed and looked at me from over her shoulder again, "perhaps they need a louder voice."

I smirked and licked my lips smelling their fear intensify as I opened my jaws, "put them down!" I bellowed watching them scamper back with their weapons dropped or hugged against their chests. One of them even fell backwards and shuffles away from me. I may not see their eyes but I'm sure it's the size of a plate now.
