Y/N's P.O.V

I gaze out of the truck window, the need of sleep nagging at me. "We're almost there Y/N, I know that you're tired. When we get there we can rest for the night and start unpacking in the morning. I'm not sure how busy the streets of New Jersey are at this time. Hopefully we'll be able to find your house with ease." You hear your cousin Wren, speak to you. "Hopefully it is..I don't really remember where it's at but I do have the address noted in my phone. I just wanna get there and sleep, are we going to bring the couch in or are we just sleeping on the carpet?" You turn your head towards Wren, waiting for a reply from him. He seems to pause for a minute as we approach New Jersey's state border. "I think we'll just take to the carpet. I don't really feel like being awkwardly cramped up to you anyways while we're both trying to get comfortable and sleep. That'd be weird." Wren laughs awkwardly. I laugh quietly and then return to gazing out of the window.

I awake to the sound of Wren calling my name to wake me up. My eyes flutter open tiredly and I look around to see where we are. I noticed we are pulled into a gas station. "Wren, are we in New Jersey yet?" I ask Wren and make slight eye contact with him, while rubbing my eyes. "Yeah, we are. I'm sorry for waking you up but I stopped for gas and wanted to ask if you needed anything..also can you pull up the address on your phone, we're gonna need that as well." Wren spoke. "It's fine..here let me get it. Go pay for the pump you majestic human and also, no I don't need anything." I say to Wren, trying to make him laugh. He chuckles and shakes his head and makes his way into the gas station store. I yawn tiredly and turn on my phone seeing I have notifications from games and a few text messages. I swipe away everything and unlock my phone immediately heading towards the messages. I don't normally get messages. Only from about two people but other than that no one texts me. I sigh disappointed, as I see it's just my phone company letting me know how much data I have left. I guess people just forget about me because they're too busy on social media or they actually have a life. I don't care about social media, it sucks. You just get looped in and it's hard to pull away, plus people are always mean to me. I swipe away the window and go to my notes, pulling up my address for Wren to follow. Wren comes jogging back to come fill up the tank of the U-Haul. Wren returns to the drivers side after filling the tank. "Do you have the address pulled up?" Wren asks me. "Yeah here, let me go to google maps and get some directions going here." I say.

About an hour later and Wren and I pull up into the drive way of my new home. I feel excited but also a sense of dread seems to creep it's way to my head. It's probably just the anxiety talking. Wren gets out of the U-Haul while I grab the blankets that were folded up in my duffel bag. I grab my keys out of my pocket with my free hand and Wren and I walk up to my new home. I sigh as I stare at the door. "Home sweet home.." I smile slightly and unlock the door, pushing it open. I step inside and look for the nearest light switch. I turn it on and it lights up the living room. "Wren could you grab the keys from the door?" I ask him as I start laying down the blankets. "Yeah." Wren replies and hands the keys to me. I return the keys to my pocket and turn to look at Wren. "Wanna tour?" I ask, tired but excited at the same time. "I'm for it." Wren smiles at me.

After the tour, Wren went to sleep before me, so I turned all the lights off and locked everything. I was tired earlier but now I'm wide awake and so many things are racing through my head. My brain is always so busy and I sort of never sleep so I guess it works out. I shiver and yawn. I get up from my makeshift bed that I was sitting on and wandered over to the thermostat and notice it's on 54°. "What the hell? Why is it so cold in here? Damn house..already giving me issues...." I mumble to myself. I turn the heat up to 68° and yawn tiredly. The only thought on my mind now was sleep. I sluggishly walk back over to my place on the floor. I sit down and pull my phone out once more to check before I lay down. I turn it on and I have no notifications. I look at the time, 2:29 AM. It's already tomorrow? I mean today..wait. I laugh to myself quietly at my own confusion and set my phone down on the floor. I lay down and cover up, shifting around on the floor until I feel snug, comfortable, and warm. I close my eyes and slowly drift into nightmare land.
