COME A LITTLE CLOSER [COMPLETED]

001: CABIN AND LUGGAGE

I'm Caren Stephanie Magpantay, Caren or Steph, depends sa mood ng kausap ko. I will be travelling alone and will have a long week vacation this time. The much awaited from the bucket lists. Matagal ko ng plano ito pero lagi napopostponed, I really would like to thank my tita for having this connection with this villa that I really wanted to visit.

"Villa Serenada" I muttered to myself and chuckled a bit. I am now sitting at the bus window seat and just waiting for the bus to leave "Serenade"

People from the university visited this place and lahat sila positive reviews. It's nice to have vacation daw since sooobrang tahimik and as of this moment, that's what I want, that's what I need. I want peace of mind. Yung tipong, magrereset yung katawan ko from all the stress that I've been through. Minsan kasi, naiisip ko, nawawala na ng meaning yung buhay ko, like, boring na ako as a whole kaya I thought about having a vacation na ako lang

Suddenly, the driver started the engine and some late passengers arrived. Half full lang yung bus but I feel so comfortable. I looked around and I can see that the atmosphere is okay naman. Travel would be 6 hours. So, darating ako maybe 4 or 5 AM

"iha, gising na" I heard a voice of a man and when I opened my eyes, yung driver, ginigising ako. I hurriedly fixed myself and looked at the window "kararating lang natin" the driver added and then suddenly walked out from the bus. I checked my watch and almost 4AM pa lang.

Kinuha ko yung backpack ko and wore it while looking at the window then I suddenly noticed may isang guy in a blue hoodie na hila hila na yung luggage ko "shet?" nataranta ko like, ano? Ninanakawan na ba ako?

"Teka po!" I exclaimed habang pababa ng bus "yung luggage ko kasi kinukuha..." then I noticed another yellow luggage na binababa ng conductor

"Luggage mo ba to, iha?"

"Ah, yes po" I replied then I looked at the guy na may yellow luggage rin

Ang gago pareho kami ng luggage. Kinabahan ako ng very light dios mio!

My tita said I can walk from the bus station to the villa, 5 minutes walk lang daw pero hindi bes, parang 20 minutes akong naglakad, kulang na lang sikatan ako ng araw paglalakad. I stopped by sa café which is open 24 hours and bought hazelnut milk tea, I cannot believe na sobrang maaappreciate ko hazelnut milk tea sa panahon na ito, taken for granted ko lang lagi siya during study hours

"Pagod na nga ako siguro, kung ano ano na litanya ko sa buhay" I muttered to myself

Naupo ako saglit and looked around. Parang lahat ng tao dito bakasyonista and it feels so good makapunta sa lugar na walang nakakakilala sayo. You can do whatever you want to do aka FREEDOM

Ang OA ko, madaling araw pa lang at ilang tao pa lang nakikita ko ang dami ko na sinasabi

I arrived at the villa past 5AM

The receptionist greeted me sweetly, and I handed her my reservation voucher then she handed me my house and room keys
