[A/N]: BACK TO CARENSTEPH'S POV

I'm thankful and sorry at the same time

It's just that I know he have this unfinished business with someone. I can see that he still cares for someone kung sino man siya and I don't want to be the reason kung bakit hindi na sila magkakachance nung someone na talagang gusto niya. Maybe I'm just a breather for him. I'm cruel yes but this is the only damage control that I know and it's the best for both of us

We are happy about everything together since the first day and I want to have those memories lasts until magkita ulit kami, kung magkikita pa kami ulit after this. I want to cherish this last moment with him kasi baka sa sobrang busy sa uni life, hindi ko na rin siya maisip. I want to savour every moment with him. Maybe this is my last reward for being a good person, somehow.

I really don't trust this kind of fling kaya maybe it's okay to have it open ended. I am not closing doors, if one day, magkita kami after this, maybe we can talk about love, true love, a kind of love that you miss kahit na magkasama kayo. A kind of love na sa inyo lang, walang kahati, walang iisipin kung may masasaktan man, walang ibang taong involve

We stood while watching the sun sets and everything turned into orange, red and black

Chian held my hand, suddenly

"Uwi na tayo, magiimpake ka pa" he said

This is the first time that I've heard that kind of voice and emotions from him. Yung tipong, I care for you so much that's why I'm letting you go

"Sige" I replied "ikaw rin" I grinned "gusto mo ba ng bralette ko?" I teased

"The hell?" he asked and laughed so hard "anong gagawin ko sa bralette mo?"

"Of course not, I'm just testing your manyakis level" I said and umuna na maglakad but still holding his hand

"Level 8 out of 8" I said and we both laughed so hard

He just poked my nose and we continue walking towards the entrance of the beach holding hands

We arrived at around 9PM sa villa since nagstop over pa kami sa rusty's for our last dinner together. Hindi ko kinaya na may paganun pa talaga siya. Pagbigyan ko na daw since binasted ko daw siya

Hindi naman siya nanligaw?

"We're home" he said while locking the main door

"Baliw ka" I said while walking towards my room laughing then suddenly Chian held my right arm and I stopped "oh?" I asked

When I looked at him, his eyes are very sad. It's soft and sad at the same time

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked and he started to walked towards me then I walked backwards kasi diba, papalapit siya ng papalapit sa akin, anong meron? Are we playing a game or what?

Then I ended up sa pinto ng kwarto ko

"Okay?" I asked and he chuckled "Seryoso Chian, you're acting like a weird person, anong meron?"

"I want to kiss you" he said

Then I tiptoed and kissed his cheeks. Nagulat siya and I grinned "goodnight Chian, it's time to pack our bags" I said

"Just a sec" he said then he pulled me, cupped my face and kissed me gently

We both smiled after the kiss

"Time to pack our bags" he suddenly said and let go of me "goodnight Steph"

I chuckled "goodnight Chian"

The next day, lumabas ako ng kwarto around 9.30 AM and contemplating if magpapaalam pa ako kay Chian or hindi na kasi baka tulog pa siya

We are both dumb because we didn't exchanged phone numbers and even sns accounts

"Fine. I'll slowly knock on the door and if magising siya then maybe I should ask for his digits and bid goodbye. If wala, then, di wag" I muttered to myself

Iniwan ko muna yung luggage ko malapit sa main front door and pumunta sa harap ng pinto ni Chian and knocked softly

Softly, baka nga marinig niya kaya this time nilakasan ko and called his name

Twice, Thrice pero walang sumasagot

I held the door knob and it's opened

"Makapasok na kaya" then I slowly opened them and to my surprise, wala siya?

I looked around and wala na rin yung mga gamit niya

"Kala ko 1PM pa alis niya?" I asked myself "tagal na namin magkasama pero ni hindi pumasok sa isip ko na kunin mobile digits niya" I muttered to myself while leaving Chian's room

Minsan hindi talaga gumagana ng matino utak mo Caren

I closed the door and looked around, sure I'm gonna miss staying here but I can comeback naman, maybe next sembreak, hindi na nga lang si Chian magiging cabin mate ko

I suddenly noticed something na nakapatong sa dining table. Since yung curiosity level ko mataas, I walked towards it and saw a book

Milk and Honey? Oh, it's the poetry book na nakita ko sa bookstore along the souvenir shops

I opened the book and bumungad sa akin message ni Chian
