~ Memory Flashback: 15 years ago ~
(Kenny's POV)
I was minding my own business when something flew over my head. I looked up trying to get a good look but it was dark out, I couldn't see enough detail. I could tell it was a woman due to the outline, but she had wings for arms. I followed her until she landed in a field and the moonlight was bright enough to see her. Her breasts were a good medium size and covered in bandages. Her long hair was an somber orange color with feathers to match and her skin was white. I hid behind a tree and accidentally stepped on a stick, caused it to snap. She turned her head towards my direction and her eyes were golden yellow.
"Who's there? Show yourself at once!"
Her voice was that of an angel.
I stepped out of the shadows and out in the open. "Don't worry, darling. I ain't gonna hurt you." I said. "How do I know if I could trust you?" She asked. "I settle for your name first." I said. "Cassandra Rose." "Beautiful name for a beautiful woman." She blushed from the compliment I gave her. "Thanks um..." "Kenny Ackerman, at your service."
~ Memory Flashback End ~
I watched my daughter wake up from her little nap. "Rise and shine, sweetheart." I said. She gasped and stood up. "What the? Where are my friends? What did you do with them?" She asked. "Your friends are fine. Just relax." "How can I? Who are you and how do you know my mother's name?!" She demanded and I sighed. "I met your mother about 16 years ago at a open field. Cassandra Rose was a harpy demon and I'm a mortal human. We fell for each other and one night, we made love and made you. But, she suddenly disappeared without a trace. Haven't seen her since." I explained. "How is she anyway?" I asked.
(Harper's POV)
I felt tears run down my face. "You...don't know, do you?" My voice cracked a little and I fell to my knees. "She's...dead."
