As I walked through the workshop, I couldn't help but sigh rudely, " This place has always been to bright and colorful." I mumble. I fix the glasses that fell on the ridge of my nose and kept my head down low.
"Are you believed in?" a voice came from next to me. And as if everybody knew the conflict that would bring up, yetis, elves and North spun around quickly to face Frost, as I came to an abrupt stop. He stopped a few steps ahead of me and felt the starring, " Did I say something wrong?" He asked, one of the most common questions, shrugging slightly. I look up at the skinny but tall boy and bare my sharp teeth and k9s.
"North where did you find this kid." I start up again and shoulder check him on my left. "Now Whisper give Jack a free-by. I didn't exactly tell him about-" I cut him off and snarl, "Doesn't give him a right to ask that question. I believe you can make assumptions in your mind. Don't need to spat everything that comes to your mind, out loud." Looking back I take my shades off to reveal the white eyes with black rings, " I am not believed in alright! Bring it up again, and I'll have you dead in a matter of seconds, Jack Frost." I puffed and put the glasses back on my nose and started walking away.
I see him stare at me, bewildered from his shadowed face and smirk, "Forgot how much I hate Guardians."
After reaching the giant globe, that showed of every child's belief in the Guardians, everyone, as in Guardians made it to the glass sphere. "Now we have had an unexpected request, from Whisper." North boomed through the room. making everybody turn their heads to face myself, making me look behind me, acting like the ass I usually was.
What makes you think I want to help that bloody wretch out!" Bunnymund shouted pointing a boomerang at me.
I snapped my head at him and glared from behind the heavily tinted glasses, "You think I want to be here! No. But I am at my weakest here. It's winter." I groaned, forcing myself not to run up to Frost and hit him, or better yet make his own shadow beat him up.
"Wait. Hold up, you mean to say you can't be in the cold or winter?" Frost asks warily.
I refrain myself again for wanting to hit him, "What did I say about stupid answers?" I looked at him with a 'no duh' expression.
That's when Bunnymund broke out in a loud, thick Australian laughter. "I gotta say. I do miss this lil' Ankle Biter." He said referring to me. I slowly look back at the bunny, and out stretch my right arm, and flicked my wrist up, making Bunny's shadow grab his shadow boomerang and swat him in the back of the head.
"I'm not a child Roo." I said in a fake Australian accent, watching him as he winced in pain from the whacking of the head. He hesitated before picking me up by the pony tail.
"What-" I cut Frost off before he started a second word and answered him rudely. " It's kangaroo in Australia. jeezus." I half hissed to the teenage boy.
He pouted and crossed his arms across the chest that puff when he exhaled. "No need to be rude Whisper." I allowed Bunny's shadow to be released as it tackled the 6 ft bunny to the oak floor. After being released, I walked up to Jack and leaned in to kiss him. His lips were icy cold and separated pretty quickly for a boy who hasn't kissed a girl in 300+ years.
I got surprised as he gripped my sides and pulled me in closer. I pulled back and pushed him back away from me, "What are you doing?" I feel some light blushing coming up. "Me! What about you, kissing me out of the blue like that?" I go wide eyed and start laughing, "North really has kept you in the dark on me, huh?" I question knowingly looking back at North, glaring. "What is she talking about?" Frost asked warily.
North rubbed the back of his head along with Bunnymund whistling while looking away, Sandy dreaming as usual and the Tooth Fairy fluttering nervously. "Guys?" Jack asked again. "Oh for Pete's sake! I have to... Sadly, kiss a guardian if I want to control their shadows. But that's only for guardians not anyone else.." I mumble in my normal whispering tone.
Frost turned to look at all the Guardians, mouth gaping in sudden surprise. Then to Tooth, "You had to kiss Whisper? WHO IS A GIRL!" He shouted even more surprised than before. I sighed kind of embarrassed, "Yes Jack... I had to kiss the Tooth Fairy.. It was...very awkward, but in the end I played a magnificent prank on the Fairy." I chuckled.
She fluttered over and frowned, "I thought you said you would never tell anyone that." I shrugged and waved her away, "I've done it to everyone now. It's not like it'll ever happen again."
After a few awkward minutes. With Jack still blushing, I look around the guardians, then sighed, "Are you kidding me... Can we please move on!" I shouted slightly more annoyed at the surrounding spirits, than before. North cleared his throat, "As I said before. Whisper needs our help. And that's exactly what we are going to do." He repeated.
Bunnymund walked over to me and cleared his throat, before going down to my eye level, only a few feet under his tall height, "And as before, I ask... Why should we help Whisper?" He gives off a slight puff from his lunges and stares deeply into my eyes. I gulped quietly and cleared my throat, " I was once a Guardian, you should be able to help me in some sort of way. I'm sorry I ruined each of your holidays a few times, but at least you are alive and believed in. That's more than I've got, I only have my life left, and Pitch is trying to steal that from me at this moment. So save my life or not but I want to live, and Pitch won't let me live for that much longer . Goodbye... Guardians." I hissed and turned to walk away, leaving the so called guardians behind.
"You won't get far Whisper! Pitch will find you!" Bunny yelled from behind. "And you won't be able to stop him." He mumbled quietly. I scoffed, "Let him try. Last thing I remember seeing, was that Jack.. Was able to defeat the master of fear. I am hundreds of years older than him. I can kill fear."
It was time to disappear again.
AN: Sorry for such a long wait. I was thinking of a good ending. And I am also sorry for it being so short, I am playing this all off of my head.
