Ch.15 The Dragon

After that little scene with Lector, Minerva had decided to do a little research. She had also asked Yukino to help find information as well. Sitting at a table, Yukino had surrounded herself with book of different thickness and colors while Minerva stood at the middle of a ladder, book in one hand and the other wrapped around the peg. They had divided the work. Yukino would research about the Shadow Clan and the Heartfilia family, something she personally wanted know more about. Though Lucy and her are great friends, Yukino really doesn't know that much apart for knowing Lucy was a runaway for a year and both her parents are deceased. Minerva had taken on finding out about this 'Dragon' person. She swor she had heard that name before, which had prompt her to research. And to find out what type of magic that girl she fought with earlier is. She had used a strange magic. Almost like shadow magic. Minerva shook her head and got back to the task at hand. Find the Dragon. Grabbing a different book, Minerva slowly climbed down the ladder. Yukino looked up slightly at Minerva as she touched the floor.
     "I believe I found something Minerva-san! About the Shadow Clan!" She yelled excitedly. A pair of Wind Reader glasses pushed on top of her head. Minerva smiled slightly at her enthusiasm and crouched down to reach a book on a lower shelf.
     "That's good. And I'm sure I'm close to figuring out who this Dragon is and why they're accusing Lucy of being it."  Yukino nodded her head while placing a bookmark in her book.
     "Yes, it's weird how they targeted Lucy-san. I hope she shows up to the guild too." Minerva remained silent as she walked up to the table Yukino sat at, opening up her own books.
      "What books do you have there Minerva-san?" Yukino asked curiously.
       "Guild records. Every mission, person, and cimplishion is in one of these books. This one is for about eight or nine years ago. I'm hoping this will give me some answers."

Couple hours later 9am

Yukinos head layed on her crossed arms on the table. Open and closed books and papers with black pictures scattered around the table and room. Minerva stayed awake. Light purple circles rested under her eyes, her hair frizzy, and words flying around her head. Her own Wind Reader glasses perched on her nose. Minervas eyes widened and she lifted up a torn paper. A light flashed in her eyes as she abruptly stood up, waking Yukino in a panic.
     "I'VE FOUND IT!"

In the guild hall

Every member had been called for an 'emergency meeting' by the master. Lucy, who had been slightly pissed at the last minute meeting, was standing near the back, close to the doors. She took note of all who was there. Rufus, Sting, Rogue, and Orga(is that spelled correctly) sat at a table near the front. The master, Minerva, and Yukino all stood on the stage, the girls carrying books and papers. Lucy had dressed in one of her new favorites, possibly what she would wear for a while. An off the shoulder dark royal blue dress with silver shoulder straps, a bronze belt and trim at the bottom of the dress, a thigh high bronze sock, a silver length scrunchie thing, and a light pink, see through shimmery cape that covers her right side and hangs off her left shoulder. Her hair in a low ponytail, meeting in the middle of her back, and a silver star clip in her hair on her left side. Virgo had given Lucy this outfit when she was leaving Magnolia, "a new outfit for a new town" Virgo had stated. Lucy smiled at the memory. Virgo was so thoughtful, really all her spirits are. Aside from her spirits, there were was now Sabertooth. Lucy's eyes softened at just the thought. She had been with them for not even a day, and had fought people who are after her. Of course, it could also be that they attacked their guildhall, our guildhall, Lucy reminded herself. This is her guild too now.
     "Attention!!" Master Jemima started, causing many members to look up. "Minerva and Yukino have gathered some information about yesterday's attack." At this, Lucy flinched. That's what's this is about?! The attack from the other day!? I am so dead. Lucy coughed slightly and looked up. A projector had been set up  as Yukino stepped up.
     "I did some research about the Shadow Clan," many people gasped including Lucy as she stood up straighter,"The shadow Clan is a dark guild. Their symbol is a bat. They work for a series of bad people but seem to be stuck with only one for the past decade. Zeref." Lucy's eyes began to shake in fear.
