So in this story All for One is Midoriya's birth father. He kidnapped Midoriya (without Inko knowing it was him) as a child and brought him back when he turned four. During that time, he was left with Shigaraki's family, them having stirct orders to do whatever they like with him except for rape and they had to feed him. For All For One, this would beat him into submission. He would do it himself but he didn't want Inko to know about it.
All For One told Inko that they were a nice family and would take care of him. She believed him and took him there whenever she couldn't watch over him. During the little time they had together, the family taught him many things, acting, lying, pickpocketing, and self defense. They only did this because they feared All For One though.
Midoriya also became good friends with Shigarki, despite him being 4 years older than him.
