i looked to the side my legs feeling as if they were as heavy as solid stone. i saw a hallway and hesitated, if i run will i be chased and captured again? or will i make a run for it and get away, i got to find out and the time is now, a huge paw slammed down onto the ground where i was standing, i scrambled out of the way and darted for the hallway my paws thumping heavily on the floor as i ran as fast as i could with my ears laid back.

i saw a huge shadow loom over me as i heard the sound of loud paws hitting against the floor. fuck i was being chased! i felt the adrenaline pumping through my veins as i picked up speed my paw pads were obviously scrapped but i couldn't feel it. but i can see the sharp stones that were on the ground.

i could hear my own heart pounding loudly in my ears i was truly fearful for what will happen if i don't get away. "wait! there's an edge!" i heard the shout of the pink skele-dog as i came up to a cliff edge. i could see sharp rocks jutting from below it as i suddenly came to a halt and the pink skele-dog caught up to me, "quickly before karma sees whats happening!" the pink skele-dog whipped me up from the ground and jumped down the cliff, my fur fluffed up in terror and my pupils were huge, Jesus i need a break from all this madness! we hit the ground she jumped far enough to miss the stones and kept on dashing down away from the hollow, it felt like ages before i was put down, i got used to the feeling of being held in huge teeth. the pink skele-dog collapsed over with exhaustion, "sorry about that, my sister is a little- uh- whatever. i never told you my name. im cherry." despite how tired she looked her tail was still wagging.

i slowly calmed down and shook off my panicked state, i stood up straight and looked over at cherry. at least shes friendly here so far everything i've seen has been hostile or just seemed like it. as my adrenaline stopped running i could feel the pain in my paw pads and started to lick them, my tongue feeling rough against them. The stones did not break the skin though, that's a good sign that i would'nt need help. I could also feel the weakness start to grow in my legs from all the running. I was able to catch my breath thanks to me being carried away, "nice to meet you cherry. i'm midnight." i said in a polite manner as cherry stood back up i had to slightly look upwards to look at her directly she was as tall as a bolder! or at least thats how it felt compared to my scrawny build.
