                       Midnights POV

A few months passed since my owner has passed away sadly, I looked at the place I last saw them before the crime scene clean up humans came in and took her body away and cleaned the blood, they didn't see me though. I hid well for a cat

Outside its sunny but with a little bit of gloom, I jumped up on my favorite window sill, looking outside. I heard something pull up in the drive through, my head darted in that direction as I saw a shiny blue 'monster' drive up it, a human with human kits came out of the monster's belly as they looked around at the house with glee. The human kits jumping around with excitement after they spotted me in the window

I impatiently sprinted down and ran to the door my tail swaying behind me. I sneakily thought 'once they open the door, I can escape! My dream will soon become a reality!' as soon as the lock started turning, my fluffy black ears perked up in excitement. When the door creaked open, I dashed past the humans and straight for the forest. I ran to the edge of the road feeling the hard asphalt under my paw pads, a human kit followed him as their mother grabbed them and dragged them away with a strong force.

I watched the road as cars drove past, the sharp smell of gasoline and pollution burning my eyes and nose. I ran across as fast as I could as I saw traffic go down a little bit, after I was running through the open forest. The nice cold and soft green grass under my paws, as the unknown smells of the forest filled my senses

I smelt the scents of prey and different plants that I passed, I also smelt this nerve-racking smell of death possibly other cat. I slowed down to be careful of where my curiosity might lead me onto, I rested under the shade of a young tree as I processed the death smell, I got up, and walked across the forest when suddenly I spotted a blood trail making the grass color change to an old blood dark brown color

I followed the trail slowly and carefully, staying alert. I felt my mind fill with the sickening feeling of terror. I felt my blood run cold as I saw a dislodged cat, its head separated from its body, decapitated as some of its insides were missing like something ate them. The eyes were split open and crushed as if they were forcefully pulled from the eye sockets.

Blood was splattered everywhere. The tail was cut into chunks the fur missing. I looked closely to see maggots feeding off the flesh of the cat. Its fur was hard to see but it was black and white and in a cow like pattern. The cat's fur was a matted mess, I couldn't handle the sight anymore, so I stalked off into the cold shadows only to be stopped by a pair of two green faint eyes in the distance. A sudden flash was made, and I was pinned to the ground by big sharp and powerful claws.

I flailed around and screeched as I felt a sharp pain in my shoulders. The claws had sunken into my fur. I heard a deep and raspy laugh as a little bit of my warm scarlet red blood trickled down my shoulders, "hmmmm. Why are you here? You don't belong here, and you've seen to much already in a few minutes..." the broad shouldered, huge mystery cat said in a raspy and angered tone "anyway I recall. A punishment.... I will send you to the place that cat went. Let's hope you don't see the same fate, shall we? It's a fun game that I like to play with unwelcomed visitors", the cat said with venom showing off in his voice.

I felt a nervous feeling well up in my stomach when suddenly, the world turned black. I looked around and saw my paws standing on a smooth and hard tile-like surface. I took a step forward and a ground that looked as bright as a starlight flashed around my paw. The ground slowly dimmed to a greyish white.

My eyes darted around in panic. I was in this dark void; papers were stranded everywhere in the space as far as the eye can see. In the center I saw a white and black stripped, cat? Dog? Human? It looked like all of them mixed together. The kitty dog was standing easily on its back paws like it was nothing! I usually need something to put my fore paws on to help me stand that way.

The stripped kitty dog turned to me. Its eyes in hypnotizing spirals as I stared right into them. It looked down at a piece of paper like the other ones that were around. Some of them were floating up high while a bunch of them where close to the ground and turning black and the corners looked burnt. When it looked back at me it showed me this sickening smile
