Jughead-
It was a dark and stormy night (lighting strikes) just kidding it was actually quite sunny out today not that I was outside today, not that I was outside or anything, I was in my usual Saturday spot, Pop's. I had ordered my usual burger, fries and a chocolate milkshake. I was enjoying my day, typing on my laptop when Veronica ran to my booth.
"Veronica." I said typing more on my laptop.
"Juggiekins!" She said hugging and kissing me on the cheek.
"Hi." I said.
"So...as your best friend it's my job to set you up with someone for the new school year."
"Veronica." I looked at her and shut my laptop. "How many times do I have to tell you? I don't need anyone, I'll just hang out with you." Veronica sat down.
"Yes, but wouldn't you like to have some company other than your beautiful, intelligent, and humorous bestie?" She asked.
"You Just gave me more reasons to hang out with you." I told her.
"As much as I love hanging out with you jug, I like my alone time with my archiekins."
"Speaking of your 'archiekins' when am I gonna meet the guy?" I asked.
"Soon." She said taking a sip of my milkshake.
"You've been saying that for months Veronica, I'm starting to think he doesn't exist." She gasped.
"Since when have I ever lied to you?" "Actually don't answer that." She said. "It's Saturday why don't we go to the Bijou?" She asked.
"Actually I'm doing something tonight." I said.
"Ooooh you have a date?" She asked.
"Didn't we just go over this? And even if I did you'd be the first person to find out."
"I know."
"I'm going out with the serpents." I told her.
A few hours later...
"Hey you ready to go?" Sweetpea asked.
"One sec." I needed to grab my spray cans from my bedroom closet. "Let's go." I said slipping on my serpent jacket. "Veronica can't find out about this." I told him.
"Fangs hurry up!" Sweetpea yelled. Fangs was in the middle of pulling up is pants.
"Really dude?" I asked.
"Sorry, pea was rushing me." And with that we left in silence. When we got to Northside high, all I wanted to do was set it on fire, but knowing that's the only school that would take Southsiders, that wouldn't work for me. I shook up my can of black spray paint and drew a crown covering a quarter of the left side of the school. Sirens went off.
"Run!" Sweetpea yelled.
"Put your hands where I can see them." A Northside officer said.
"Oh shit." I said under my breath. Sweetpea, fangs, and Toni were long gone and it was just me flashlights on me.
"You're coming with me sir." He said, voice raspy and loud. He threw me into the car and started driving. The car ride wasn't long but it felt like an eternity. When the cop finally stopped the car and got out he pulled me out by my hand cuffs and dragged me out.
"Can you tell me your name son?" The cop threw me in a cell.
"Forsythe Pendleton Jones |||" I answered.
"Oh, looks like you've committed multiple crimes." He said. All I could do was shake the bars of the cell doors. "Oh trust me Forsythe you're not getting out of those tonight, well I mean unless someone bails you out, but I'm guessing someone so low life as you has nobody to do that, now do you?" I rolled my eyes and kicked at the concrete wall. The office doors bursted open, out coming Veronica and Hiram lodge. Veronica's heels clicked the floor as she got closer to me.
"I thought by 'going out with the serpents' meant having dinner at the wrym not ending with me bailing you out again." She said.
"Veronica I'm sorry." I said.
"No! Now I'm definitely hooking you up with someone, jug I don't get payed to babysit." She said.
"Well that's because you think kids are gross." I corrected her.
"Yes that too, but you get my point." She said. The guard unlocked the gate "alright kid, the next time I want to see you is in court, I'll be contacting your father about the session." He said.
"Damnit Jughead!" Veronica said.
