Jughead:
Veronica had picked me up and drove me to pops. She told me earlier that I was gonna go on a double date with Archie and her but they still don't want me to know who this girl it and it's getting on my nerves, I mean knowing them they probably set me up as a joke. I waited in the booth alone for a few minutes while Veronica "powdered her nose" the door chimes hoping it was archie and this girl. It wasn't. I waited another minute and two other people came into the diner. "Hi archie." Oop greeted him. I couldn't see the girls face because she wasn't turned my way. Archie pulled her toward the booth but her head was down at her shoes.
"Hey jug."
"Hi archie."
"Um, where's Veronica?" He asked.
"She went to powder her nose." I told him.
"Anyway, this is betty, my step sister." He said. She lifted up her head.
"Jughead?" Betty said. Archie looked so confused it was kinda funny.
"Hey Betty."
"I'm confused." Archie said. Veronica walked out of the bathroom, her heels clicking as they hit the floor.
"What did I miss?" Veronica asked.
"Apparently they know each other already." Archie rolled his eyes in disappointment.
"So...? They're still going on a date." She said sitting next to archie in the booth.
"Betty do you want to sit down?" I asked her. She nodded and sat down.
"How did you guys meet?" Veronica asked.
"Community service." Betty finally spoke.
"You look different." I managed spit out.
"Trust me it wasn't my idea to dress this way." She said.
"No, you don't look bad it's jus different." There was a silence in the group.
"So, who's ready to order?" Veronica asked.
"Me." Archie said. Betty and I nodded in response. When the food was brought to out table, Betty inches away from me slightly.
"Guys, you know what I just realized?" Archie asked.
"What?" I asked sipping my chocolate milkshake.
"Since Jughead and Veronica got kicked out of south side, that means we're all gonna together for our senior year." She said taking a huge bite of his burger.
"Wait you guys go to Northside high?" I asked. Betty and Archie nodded in response.
"See I told you juggiekins, not all Northsiders are bad." Veronica smirked.
