Chapter 7: iPhone

(Tyler's POV)

Marinette was working on the project with Adrien at her house, Meaning that I would be at the Agrest Mansion with Peter. Alone.

I was carrying 2 books about space and the solar system.

They were quite heavy, Peter saw my situation so he took the books from me.

I smiled and said "Thanks" Peter is a really nice guy come to think about it. It took me quite a while to realize that he's not a stranger to me anymore.

We got into the the Agrest Mansion and walked towards Adrien's room.

I gotta admit, it's a really nice room. It has everything a teenage kid would ever want.

"Gosh these books are heavy" Peter said, putting down the books.

I giggled a bit and admired Adrien's room.

"You ready?" Peter said as we both sat on the cold floor.

"Guess so" I said. He cupped my chin and looked all over my face.

I looked at him in the eye. Those emerald green eyes

What?

"Hmm I thought I saw something on your face, guess it's gone" Peter said.

There was no way I was falling for a mortal. Nope zero percent.

I quickly moved and got away from his grasp saying "let's start now"

Kwamis can lose track of time really quickly. It's hard for us to keep track of time.

I took the heavy books and tried to stuff them into my bag. Peter helped me and once they were in I said "um see you tomorrow"

"See you" Peter said

I was about to walk out of Adrien's room until I was stopped by Peter grabbing my wrist.

"What kind of man would I be if I let her walk home alone in the dark?" He said while smirking.

"Um no I think I can walk alone" I said then he quickly said "nope, I'm walking you home"

I signed and nodded. We walked out of the Agrest Mansion.

We decided to take the route from the park. Peter stopped and tapped my shoulder.

I turned around and saw him holding a box. I looked at him confused and then he said "Happy late birthday"

He handed me the box and I opened it. It was an iPhone, I just looked at him with the most shocked face ever.

Then I said "how did you get this much money to buy it?" He scratched the back of his head and said "um let's just say I have a walking, talking wallet"

"You stole money from Adrien?"

Wow, I was walking with a criminal

"I didn't steal money from him, I borrowed it from him" he smiled.

"When did you even buy this anyway?" I said. Still shocked from what I just got.

"While you were sleeping" He said while smirking.

I flushed when he said that.

Yes, there was this time while we were doing the project, I just fell onto the desk and fell asleep. But that was just for 5 minutes, right?

I scrolled through the contacts list and I saw someone called "the best guy ever"

I raised an eyebrow at Peter, then he said "who else could be the best guy ever except me?"

I'll tell you, Plagg.

"Thank you, this is really cool" I said smiling.

Marinette's house came to view, then I said "I can walk now, my house is really near" I started walking.

I turned and saw Peter who was casually strolling down the park towards the Agrest Mansion.

Then I said "Thank for the iPhone again!" And I waved at him.

He turned and smiled, waving back.

I bolted across the street and dashed into Marinette's bakery.

Sabine looked at me and said "Hello Tyler, Marinette and Adrien are upstairs"

I smiled and said "Thanks Sabine, you're the best"

I walked up the stairs and opened the trapdoor.

I saw Adrien and Marinette talking. They weren't in any special moment so I coughed loudly and said "Hello"

"I better get going now. It's already dark. Bye Marinette" Adrien said as he waved his hand at Marinette.

Then I said "Adrien, did you know that Peter bought me an iPhone with your money" Then Adrien had a look that was unexplainable and said "It's fine, It's for you, isn't it? Besides he already told me he's going to buy one"

I knew he lied. Peter never told him that.

Adrien said bye to me and Marinette as he left.

Marinette blinked at the box I was holding and said "Peter bought you an iPhone?"

Then I said "yea, he asked me when my birthday was so he bought me an iPhone as a birthday gift"

Then Marinette said "awww Peter and Tyler, sitting on a tree-" I immediately cut her off, saying "Marinette Kwamis don't fall in love with mortals"

She frowned, then I changed the subject to lighten up the mood a bit.

"So how's Adrien?" I said and she immediately blushed.

"He's great, as usual. We talked a lot. It was fun" she said smiling and blushing.

"How's Peter" Marinette said, taking me by surprise.

"He's fine" I said calmly. Unlike Marinette, I'm not in love with him.

We both talked a bit then we stumbled onto our beds and fell asleep.
