Still Denise's POV~
I jolt awake. We seemed to have stopped at a petrol station on the highway.
"Where are we?" I ask nervously.
"Well we have stopped for petrol and a snack. Would you like anything?" one of the men ask me.
I think for a minute.
"Just a Marsbar please," I say with a cheesy smile.
I have so many questions to ask but I don't know how to ask them.
What's the time? How far away are we? Where is this place?
Then, without warning, I hear a males voice in my head.
"You'll be okay. You'll be here soon enough."
I try to 'talk' back.
"Umm...who are you? And why can I hear you?"
I get the 'reply' almost instantly.
"You'll find out soon enough."
What is going on?
As I drift back to sleep, I begin to hear another message.
"I'll be seeing you in a couple of hours. Don't you worry. Just go back to sleep."
So that's exactly what I do.
~
I wake with a jolt. It's morning outside, and I'm alone in the car. It seems we have pulled up at what appears to be the orphanage.
I check the time quickly.
8 am.
Hmm.
I open the door cautiously and shut it with a 'slam!'
I walk to what appears to be the main office building.
I decide to try out the thoughts process as I open the door and enter the air conditioned room.
"Hello? Is anyone answering?"
I ring the bell on the desk and take a seat on the cushioned bench just inside the door.
Finally, I get a reply.
"It is I. Have you arrived?"
"Yes I have."
"Wait for the lady to attend the desk. You will meet me soon enough. I have a game I play though- I will not tell you who I am. You have to figure it out."
This will be harder than I thought.
~
The lady tends to the desk.
"What's your name, honey?" she says, chewing on gum.
"Denise Hunt."
She types for a bit on her computer. Then, without warning, her face drops. It's only a little, but it still makes my face drop a tad as well.
"I'm going to take you to a private office. I'll explain what's going on then. Until then, take a seat and wait."

~~~authors note~~~
How was this part? There might be another part up either tonight, or tomorrow. Because I'm not trick or treating and I have a maths assignment to finish.
Be patient, grasshoppers!
