"I am not the one to believe in movies, books or fairytales where you meet people and stay with them forever." Son Aeri said, looking up from her phone screen.

Her sister looked at her with confusion, a book sitting on her lap.
"Stop lying. I know how much you like these things." Son Taehee answered.

"I used to." She mumbled, "I stopped believing around seven or eight years ago."

Aeri got up from the bed, grabbing her backpack and made her way towards the door.

" Going to Eunmi's house?"
"Yup, English project."
"What about your class?"
"We'll see about it, bye."

Aeri walked on the sun lit footpath, eyes squinting due to the heat of the lazy afternoon light.
The girl looked down at her feet to avoid the radiation of the blazing sun to reach her eyes. Ignoring the ring of a bicycle, she continued to walk, keeping her mind busy in her thoughts.
But then, she looked up.

"Aeri!" She heard someone shout again.
She turned around to look at Eunmi who stood in front of her house, holding onto her bicycle.

"You idiot," Eunmi said while putting her bicycle at its place, "Forgot where my house is?"

"No, I was just not looking." Aeri replied glancing at the bicycle, "Where were you?"

"Nothing, just went to deliver some letters. Come on in."

Aeri  walked into the house, the sound of her foot steps being the only thing to break the silence as she made her way to Eunmi's room. She put her backpack on the bed and slumped down next to it, waiting for Eunmi to arrive.

"Seoyeon said she will come in five minutes. She honestly do not seem very much enthusiastic about this project." Eunmi said, walking into the room with her phone in her hand.

"I don't blame her. Who in their right mind gives a project on the starting week of the school." Aeri complained, "I don't even know what we have to do in this project."

"Come on. It is not that bad." Eunmi assured her friend, "At least we are in the same group."

"Only after Seoyeon and I exchanged our original chits. Even that did not went well. I have to agree to do a week's homework of that jerk Jimin in exchange of his chit."

"If you want, I can help you in doing that," Eunmi offered, knowing how much Jimin annoyed Aeri.

"Nah, I got myself into this mess. Besides, I have those old pictures to use as black mail material."  Aeri replied with an evil smirk on her face.

"Aeri! You are better than that." Eunmi warned.

"I know. I have decided to be nice and more social this school year. But, I will not actually use them, I will just-" Aeri's sentence was cut by the sound of the door bell.

"I don't want to do this project," Seoyeon cried, walking into the house as soon as the door was opened.

Eunmi groaned, "If I knew having you two in my group would result in me just listening to you complain then I would have just sticked with Jimin and Jungkook."

"Pfft, as if you would have even talked to Jungkook," Seoyeon said as she gestured Aeri to scoot over.

"Why are you saying that? I can talk to people."

"We know but for some reason, you and Jungkook have never spoken a word to each other." Aeri explained.

"Speaking of them," Seoyoen began, "I passed Jimin on my way and he seemed pretty serious about this project."

"Impossible," Aeri responded, "He is just doing that to make a good impression in the eyes of the teacher."

"Whatever. I don't care." Seoyeon said and looked at Eunmi, "What do we have to do?"

"We have to take any one play of Shakespeare and portray its settings, either in the form of a model or by performing a play."

"Model it is," Aeri interrupted, "And what were you saying about writing something?"

"Oh, we also have to write an essay on that play ."

Aeri groaned, "Why?"

"Please Aeri, you are the best among all of us in writing essays." Eunmi begged.

"And I don't think you want Jimin to get a higher grade than you." Seoyeon added.

"Fine," Aeri said, "I don't want Jimin to have the wrong impression that he can just get better grades than me."
