"I can either do my work, or interrogate you about your life, and frankly, I have priorities." Namjoon said, looking up from his notebook.
"Which will be...?" Jiyeon asked.
"Something that is due in the next period."
"Can't you like bunk that class as well?" Teahyung asked, his nose buried in the phone.
"Exactly. Namjoon, listen to your brother, bunk the next period as well."
Namjoon sighed, "If I ever listened to my brother, I would be his slave by now," he said, earning a knowing chuckle from Taehyung, "And I bunked this class only so I could complete my work for the next one."
"Ah, what a boring life you live." Taehyung commented quietly, his eyes fixated on the screen.
"Then why did you bring us with you? Do you know how hard it was to sneak this idiot out?" Jiyeon said, flicking Taehyung's forehead.
"Ow!" He responded, finally looking up from the phone.
"I brought you here so you can keep a check of wether someone was coming or not, which you clearly are not doing."
"You really thought we would do that? How cute." Jiyeon teased.
"Fine, but at least be quiet."
"Alright." Jiyeon said sitting down, staring at what Namjoon was scribbling before being interrupted by Taehyung.
"Hey, look at this" He said.
"FOR FUCK'S SAKE TAEHYUNG WHAT PART OF 'BE QUIET' DO YOU BLOCKHEADED TWIT CANT COMPREHEND? CANT YOU SEE I AM TRYING TO WORK?" Namjoon shouted, his voice echoing in the hallway.
"Jeez, I can say the same thing. Anyway, aren't these guys us?" He asked, zooming in on a photo from Instagram.
"Uh, yeah. It is posted by someone here right now. Who is it?" Jiyeon asked, handing the phone back to Taehyung.
"Your boyfriend."
"What!" Jiyeon exclaimed, snatching the phone back to look at the photo of Hyunshik posing with another girl, "Oh, it's her. Yeah she is just his friend."
"You sure? She do look a bit too cozy for a friend." Taehyung asked.
"Yes," Jiyeon answered, "I trust him."
"Really? Cause he surely do not trust you." Taehyung mumbled.
"What do you mean?"
"What he means," Namjoon said, "Is that your dear boyfriend picked up a fight with me just because I helped you with your homework."
"So he is a little over-protective," Jiyeon mumbled.
"A little? He freaking shoved me into a wall."
"That's just the way he is," Jiyeon defended, "Besides, the point is, I trust him and I dont care if he is with another girl who is just a friend."
"Oh you are jealous." Taehyung said.
"No. I dont even give a damn."
"Nah, you do. you give so many damns that they are visible from space." Namjoon teased.
"Will you just shut up? I dont want to talk about him right now." Jiyeon huffed, a wave of uncomfortable silence spreading over them only to be broken by the sound of Taehyung getting a notification.
"What is it now?" Jiyeon asked.
"Nothing," Taehyung nervously shoved the phone in his pocket, "Must be spam or something. I can check it later."
---
"You told me he is glued to his phone," Taehee shouted at Jimin outside of the school building, making him tremble at the loud scary voice of the elder, "Well, in my defence, he has been glued to his phone almost every time I have met him."
"Then why haven't he replied to message which I left in the morning?"
" Maybe because we can't always trust Jimin to give the accurate information?" Seoyeon said, sweetness dripping from her sarcastic tone.
Regaining his composure, Jimin glared at Seoyeon, "Every time I hear anything come out of your mouth, Seoyeon, a part of my soul departs my body."
"Great. That's exactly what I want," She replied with a smile and turned her head towards Taehee, "Have you even told her that you are going through with the plan?"
"Told whom?"
"Aeri."
"I thought maybe you would do that."
"Oh no," Seoyeon said, "You know that she would be mad and I'm too young and pretty to die."
"As if," Jimin scoffed.
"Anyways, you messaged, you'll talk. There she is." Seoyeon answered, pointing towards Aeri and Eunmi who were walking towards them.
"I don't want to be a part of this," Jimin mumbled as he tried to slip away but was stopped when Taehee got hold of him by his collor, "You are staying right here mister."
"Jungkook picked a nice day to miss school," he huffed as he slumped down his shoulders, glumly standing beside Seoyeon.
"So, Aeri, I'm going to start this with don't be mad." Taehee said as she approached her sister and her friend.
"What did you do?" Aeri asked irritably.
"Well, you remember," Taehee began hesitantly before getting interrupted.
"I'll ask you later at home. I don't want to remember anything right now," Aeri said, "But can you guys please tell Eunmi not to talk to random people on the internet?"
"Why? It is not that big of a deal," Jimin shrugged.
"Yeah, I talk to random people all the time." Taehee added.
"Yes," Aeri said, "But you know their real identities-"
"Come on Aeri. It is not that big of a deal. I mean, I understand what you are trying to tell me and that you are worried because of Yunsik-" Eunmi began.
"I can't care less about that guy." Aeri declared, angrily cutting Eunmi mid sentence.
"RiRi," Seoyeon began, "Calm down. Eunmi have you shared any personal information with the guy?"
"How do you genius know it is a guy?" Jimin asked.
"Just a guess idiot. So, have you?"
"Obviously not. It was just one message."
"Good. It's alright then. And Aeri, just go home and take your mind off of somethings, alright?" Seoyeon said, getting a simple nod as a response.
"So, should I tell her about it today or...?" Taehee whispered.
"I don't know, you decide." Seoyeon whispered back.
"Why do I even have to tell her. Can't Jimin tell her?"
"Hey. Don't drag me into this mess. I have nothing to do with it." Jimin whispered as he joined in on the conversation.
"You are part of this as much as I am." Seoyeon said.
"You know what, I will just wait till he replies back." Taehee said.
"Just tell her when you reach home.' Jimin suggested.
"Can't. I have to go join a new class today, and she is meeting someone at the arcade so..."
"Fine. But please do tell her," Seoyeon answered as she walked ahead.
"Do you guys want to go home or what? The buses are about to leave." Eunmi asked, stopping and turning around with Aeri.
"Yeah, we're coming," Jimin shouted.
"May the odds be ever in your favour." He said to Taehee before walking forward to catch up with his friends.
