Your POV

"Alrighty, your bruises are starting to fade and the swell on your knees are going down so that's good but you're going to have to take it easy so no running and no.." Doctor Marshall looked at all of us surrounding Chance uncomfortable before he cleared his throat and continued his sentence. "No sexual activities" His voice cracked while Chance's eyes widened.

He was about to say something before he caught our mom looking at him with a death glare.

"Of course sir, I'm actually a virgin" Chance put on his most charming smile but I saw his fingers crossed behind his back clear as day.

We are definitely gonna talk about his fast ass later.

I brought my gaze up to our mother seeing the same look of sheer disbelief on her face.

Somebody's getting whooped when we get back.

We all said our thank you's to the Doctor and watched him leave.

Chance had been here for at least 3 days at the most and Billie had never left his side since.

She had cancelled all her interviews, all her photo shoots and if she had been on tour then she probably would've pushed a show back for Chance.

"Get your yellow ass up and get ready" Y/mn rolled her eyes at him.

"Alright come on BilBean let's get you something to eat" She smiled at Billie, nodding her head towards the door.

My mother always treated Billie like this but I guess she's become 10x nicer since she always wanted Billie and Chicago to be together.

She ain't slick.

I watched as Chance put his jeans on under his hospital dress before taking it off and sliding in his shirt.

"Come on with your bird chest ass" I grabbed him by the shoulders and ruffled his curly hair.

"I know you not talking with your midget ass" He jumped and tried to ruffle my hair.

I laughed at his attempt but kept my arm around his shoulder.

"I know you are but what am I ?" He laughed for the first time since we got here but instead of feeling happy, I felt horrible, sad even.

I cleared my throat and looked away. "Sit down Chance"

He picked up on my seriousness and sat on the side of the hospital bed.

I walked over to the blinds and slowly shut them, taking a short breath.

"Chance you could've died, do you understand that ? You d-don't even understand how I felt when I saw you on the ground" I turned and faced him with tears in my eyes.

The faint sound of the air conditioner was the only thing heard in the room as we stared at each other.

"D-Do you not t-trust me ? Is that why you couldn't tell me ?" I pressed him for answers.

We might be two totally different people but we've always been there for each other, we've never snitched on each other and we have such a close bond, I don't think I've ever giving him a reason not to trust me.

He let out a short breath and shook his head.

"Y/n come here" He softly patted the space next to him on the bed.

Once I was seated next to him I kept my hands placed in my lap, looking straight at the wall.

"So why didn't you tell me you were getting jumped ?" I still hadn't faced him, I didn't want to see what those heathens did to him.
