Meeting Mystery Inc

Zim moans as he opens his eyes. He rubs his head as he groans in pain.

Zim- Aw , my head.

Dib- ( Wakes up ) My cranium.

Gir- My everything.

They look at their surroundings to see where they're at. It was still nighttime But they're in a different place. The ground was hard and dry , there were a few cacti around , and a tumbleweed tumbles by. The trio stand up .

Zim- Where are we ?

Dib- It looks like we're in a desert.

Zim- A desert ?

Dib- Yeah. You know. One of the hottest places on Earth ? But it's a little cool now due to it being night and all.

Zim- How are we gonna get home ?

Dib- I have no idea. The portal must've closed up when we were unconscious. Who knows when it will open again ?

Gir- What do we do now ?

Dib- Well , I suggest we stick together and maybe find some help.

Zim- Nu uh ! No way ! I am not working with you again! ( Crosses arms ) Count me out !

Dib- But what other choice do we have ,   Zim ? You maybe an alien but you apparently don't have quite the extreme intelligence to know when the portal will open !

Dismayed , Zim glares with his mouth gaping open and his hands placed on his hips.

Zim- Well , excuse me , Dib !

Dib sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose.

Dib- Look... We're only working together to get back home. That's it ! That's all I ask , okay ? Now , do we have a deal or don't we ?

Zim ponders for a few seconds. He sighs in defeat and takes his hand out for Dib to shake. Dib was a little taken aback by this.

Zim- Well , what're we waiting for ? You wanna get back home do ya ?

Dib regains his posture and takes Zim's hand before he shakes it in agreement.

Dib- Yes. Yes I do.

Then they look around to find anyone for help.

Zim- Now , where could some humans be ?

Dib looks around. He then spots a small diner ahead and points to it.

Dib- There ! Right there !

Zim- Huh ?

Dib- That diner up ahead ! It should have other people in it . Let's go check it out.

Zim-WAIT ! Gir and I need to put on our disguises.

Dib- ( Annoyed ) What ? It's always disguises with you two.

Zim- Well , we don't wanna get caught you know .

Zim takes out his contact lenses and his black toupee and place them on as Gir takes out his green puppy dog costume.

Zim- There we go. ( To Dib ) Now , how do we look ? Do we look okay ?

Dib- ( Rolls eyes ) Yes. You both look fine. Now , let's go !

Zim- Okay , okay. Geesh ! Talk about being pushy.

They make their way to the small diner. They open the door and the bell rings above it , making Zim flinch.

Dib- It's just a bell , Zim. Diners do that so they fan know who are the new customers.

They walk to an empty diner table and they sit down. Then a skinny middle aged woman with curly platinum blonde put up in a beehive and wearing a pink waitress dress walks up to them with a notepad and a pen.
