Love At First Sight (A StarTom story)

It's been a while since I've seen Star, but today is Star's 13th Birthday, and I plan on asking her to be my girlfriend. I know it sounds crazy, but I already talked to Queen Moon, and my parents, and they approved. Ponyhead and I invited some other people, and already made arrangements to create a surprise birthday party for her, and once Star cuts the cake, that's when I'll come into play. Right now, Pony head, Kelly, Penelope, Larry, and I are in our hiding places, until Queen Moon opens the door.

"Thomas, can I have a quick word?"

I follow her out to the ballroom and wait for her to close the door.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" She asked.

"I know I'm capable. Besides, since I can handle her, she can handle me." I replied.

She grins. "Well, then, you already know what to do and when to do it, so I have nothing else. I'll go wake Star up, go back to hiding."

"Yes, Queen Moon." I say and go back inside.

When I go back to my hiding place, Pony head flies to me saying, "Don't mess up,okay?"

"Can't say I will." I reply.

"What do you mean?" Kelly asked curiously.

"So, Tom is gonna ask Star out to be his girlfriend since they both like each other and all that." Pony Head said.

"Oooooh, Tom likes Star." Penelope teased.

In my head, I am annoyed, but at the same time nervous. I kept quiet at their little girl chat. Then, the door opens. We all take a little peek, Queen Moon turns on the lights and we said,

"Surprise! Happy 13th Birthday Star!" We all exclaimed.

Star's astounding face made me blush. Her hot pink dress, with her sparkling pink shoes, and a high ponytail hair style made me blush even more. She looked beautiful.

"Oh my gosh, thank you all so much." She said.

Queen Moon's squire carried the cake to the big table in the middle of the ballroom. He ignited Star's candle numbers and all of us sang the Happy Birthday Song. She started crying.

"Thank you, Thank you." Star said. I gave her a tissue and she wiped her tears. After that, it was my turn.

I saw Queen Moon wink at me before she left the ballroom.

C'mon, you can do this. Don't hold back. She'll say yes, hopefully. I told myself.

Star already was talking to her friends. So I walked up to her.

"Star?"

She faced me. Her face turned rose gold, again. "Hey Tom. Long time no see."
