Prolouge

Rydel POV

I woke up with a strange feeling, an a major migraine.

I realised the curtains were open and I've never had them open.

Groaning I sat up, only to realised that this wasn't my room. I began panicking until I saw my best friend lying on the bed next to me naked.

Letting out a sigh, I laid back down.

'Wait naked!' My subconscious screamed out.

And just like that memories of last night happened like flash backs in movies.

My birthday: the party, drinking, Ellington, the hotel, no protection.

"No, no, no", I chanted over and over again, wishing it was just a nightmare.

After putting on my clothes as quietly as I could, I sprinted out of the hotel.

Usain Bolt running couldn't even compare to the speed I was going at.

Six weeks after the incident and I've been vomiting and getting constant mood swings.

I did a pregnancy test after five weeks of waiting and it turned out positive.

I haven't told my parents but I have a strange feeling they know and I don't plan to confront them.

I completely shut Ellington out, I didn't want him to know yet, or ever for that matter.

I crept into my fathers study and went over and unlocked his safe.

I grabbed my credit card and my aunt's will. It was for her house back it Colorado, and in a day it would be mine.

I went back to my room and grabbed a duffle bag and a large suitcase, I stuffed all my clothes in the suitcase and items I couldn't go without for a few weeks.

I called a taxi to pick me up down the block so my parents wouldn't know I was going.

I didn't have to worry about my booking since I already booked it the day I figured I was pregnant.

I was about to leave when I saw Rocky's laptop flashing, I dropped my luggage and went over to it. I unlocked it and I saw a folder.

'LOUDER 2013'

I clicked opened the folder and it only had three songs in it. I clicked opened Love Me Like That and I looked at the vocals.

I was singing the vocals.

I couldn't let this stay here if I was going to leave.

I went and grabbed my USB out of my wallet and dropped the file into it before erasing the file itself on the laptop.

"I guess this is goodbye California" I let out a shaky breath.

Before grabbing my bags and leaving.

Rocky POV

We arrived home without Rydel. We all presumed that she went to spend her birthday money shopping with Lori. I'm sure she will be back soon.

7 Hours Later

Rydel still wasn't back yet, and every one was getting freaked out, mom was crying and dad looked liked a high school kid on the first year of year 7, so we called the police.

"And she still isn't home" I finished.

"Was anything stolen or damaged?" One of the two officers asked.

"No, but I did find my laptop open and a song was removed".

"Hmm, as you have already been told we can't start searching for her until after three days after the disappearance".
