Chapter 7

Riker POV
I was in the hotel room getting ready for my sort of date with Shailine, It was quite an easy ask.

-FLASHBACK-
I walked up to Shailine. With my heart in my hands,

"Hey Shai" I said and greeted her with a hug.

"Hey Riker," she said while hugging me back.

"Listening have a question" I started but got cut off.

"Yes" she said.

"You don't know the question?!" I protested jokingly.

"You were going to ask me out weren't you" she said.

"Mayyybeee, but how did you know?" I asked.

"I'm deaf but I'm not that deaf" she said with a chuckled.

"Did you just quote The Fault In Our Stars?! But replaced blind with deaf?!" I asked.

She laughed, "see you at seven" she said and walked off.
-end of flashback-

Roxanne entered my room afterwards,

"Hey," I said.

"Hey did you like your massage last night?" She asked me.

"I always love our massages" I said and pecked her on the lips.

"Look nice, are you going out with someone?" she asked me.

"Just with some old friends," I lied.

She looked down,

"What's wrong?" I asked her

"Just be safe" she said and went to the bathroom as I was walking out the door.

Rocky POV
Everything is set up,

Gosh Mia is gonna love this idea.

I know she's 18 and still in high school and I'm 20 and graduated from homeschool. And I know some of you are thinking it could never be..

But hey, Age is overrated....right?

Shailine POV
I was at Rydels getting ready. I've changed my dress like 5 now, Right now, I'm in my floral dress with my pink heels.

"Okay what about this?" I signed. I didn't have my hearing aids, but I'll put them in when Riker gets here,

"It's beautiful, Shai. Just go with that, my brother doesn't care about looks, he care about personality" Rydel signed back.

Ramona looked up.

"You Look pretty, ShaiShai" she signed. But she signed the word pretty wrong so she actually singed 'You look poop, ShaiShai' but she is three, she's learning.

"He's here" Rydel signed to me and I out my hearing aids in and opened up the door.

"Hey" I said.

"Hey, whoa you look gorgeous. You ready to go?" He asked.

"Yeah" I said and he took me on our 'date'

Mia POV
I walked to the beach to see Rocky.

"So why did I have to come here Mr. Lynch" I asked.

He hit the play button in the stereo and Here Comes Forever started to play.

"May I have this dance, Miss Watson?" He replied with a question.

I rolled my eyes and giggled. "As you wish, Mr.Lynch" I said and we danced until the song ended. He did more stupid cliché things.

The night soon came to the end.

"Well,I have to go, bye Mr.Lynch" I said then it started to rain.

Ugh, I didn't bring an umbrella.

"Wait" he cried and ran up to me.

"What is it?" I asked,

"I want to do one more cliché thing" he said and he wrapped his arms around my small waist.

I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Your going to kiss me in the rain, aren't you" I whispered.

Then he kissed me.

This guy is so cliché.

After our kiss, we looked into each other's eyes.

"Can I be your boyfriend?" He asked me. Soo cliché.

"Yeah, Can I be your girlfriend?" I asked him. Super cliché.

"Yeah" he replied and picked me up bridal style and kissed me.

This has been such a cliché night.

But it's also been the best ones of my life.
