It was weird having Sebastian back as a member of the Phantomhive Manor staff. The others were unsure what to make of it since he's been buried alive for a week. His appearance otherwise was slightly different but they seemed not to noticed. Ciel was a little baffled since he had blood red eyes before that are now brown. His dark raven hair was a dark brown that could still be black. It could be the opposite with black mixed in with brown, he was just shocked at their reactions. They were there to work, not to question every supernatural event that goes on with the Queen's Watchdog. They knew what they were signing up for when they got the positions to care for the Phantomhive Manor and its Master.

Despite being a human, Sebastian was still one hell of a butler. Despite requiring the human necessities of sleep and food, he did his job with grace. If Ciel were to thought, the butler might be better now than he ever did before. It didn't matter about the quality of the job but that he was willing to take time to see that every task was completed to it's full potential.

Few words were exchanged throughout the day as it comes to an end. The workload had decreased to a few sheets as Ciel stared at the words with no comprehension of what they're saying. Sleep started to drawn on his eyelids, his eye patch was left unnoticed on the table. Unlike the rest of the staff, he kept his eye a secret until he makes an excuse about how it finally healed up after so many years.

A voice drew him from his running imagination. Looking to the door, he saw his head butler taking his stance by the door. Sebastian stretched before looking into the eyes of his Master once more. Making his way to the desk, his brows raised questing for a response.

"I see you did not hear me. I asked if you completed your work for today?"

"Yes, I am," a small blush crawled onto his face as he secure the last piece of work for the following morning.

"Understood. Would you like to return to your room to change into your nightwear attire?"

"Not yet," he stared at the man before asking something else. "Would you play me something on the violin?"

"You don't have to ask you know," a grin appeared on the butler's face as he made his way to the stand where the instrument was at rest. "Is there anything particular you would like for me to play?"

"Surprise me."

"Yes, My Lord."

The piece started off slow but had a soothing melody. The young Master moved to a seat closer to hear the sounds that emitted from the finely made string instrument. It sang a soulful but sad voice as it reminded on the same note for most of the song. He face of the player presented the mood of the music. The atmosphere felt as if a longing was understood for the first time. The nostalgic feeling of being home again.

"That was lovely, Sebastian."

"I'm glad you enjoyed it so." A sad smile crossed his face as he set the violin down. "Sadly you have a busy day tomorrow for you must retire."

"If only nights could be like this," Ciel said softly as he got up from where he was sitting.

"I know but you have meetings with the manufacturers at the Funtom Corporation in regards to the seasonal changes."

"I know but I still feel at a loss."

"Of what might I ask?"
