We walked over nextdoor, and got our shoes made. I got some dark blue boots that can be laced up. Lafrane got some red construction boots that are slip ons. "Your shoes should be done in about two days." Shrin gave us a map of the village so we could get used to the layout of the town. By the time we got back to our house the sun was about down. We both went inside and lit the lanterns on either side of the room. I took my boots I alredy had on off and set them next to my bed. When I set them down I heard the bottom of them hit something. "What was that?" I bent over to look and it was a box. I grabbed the box and pulled it onto my bed. "What is that, Watinsi?" "It's a box I found under my bed." Lafrane then looked under his bed and found a box as well. "Oh cool, I found one too." We both opened up the boxes and were amazed by what was in them. Inside was pair of gloves. The gloves that were going to activate our powers and protect the village from us. There was also a new string for our crystals. In the bottom was a note. I said not to put the gloves on yet until we meet our trainer and start training. We both put the gloves on a table by the door, and replaced the strings for our necklaces. When we were done putting our stuff away, we layed down on our beds and went to sleep.
In the morning we were awaken by one of the beavers. He pulled us out of bed and gave us a leather sachel with quite a bit of things in them. "Wake up boys. It's time to start training." We both started to lookin the bag but then the trainer interupted us. "No you can't look in there yet. You have to activate your powers first otherwise these items will have no use to you." We then grabbed our gloves off the table and followed the trainer outside. He was walking to another part of the village we didn't get introduced to. While we were walking, we started to ask him some questions. "Lafrane did you get his name yet." "No I haven't. Hey are you gonna tell us your name or what?" "Oh my bad, I am Yonu, your Elemental trainer. I will teach you guys how to use your powers properly. Did you find our gloves?" We both nodded our heads and grabbed them out of our pockets.
