A Foolish First Move

Natsu POV
As we were riding on the train i couldnt stop myself from staring at Luce. She looks so beautiful and...peaceful. Her silky smooth blonde hair was slightly messy but her bangs curved around her face perfectly.

My gaze fell down to her pinkish plump lips that her parted slightly letting cute little snores escape through. It makes me want to bite them.

"HHHHOOOOONNNNKKKK!!" I jumped in surprise but immediately felt sick and melted into a green puddle. I watched as Luce and Suna got up and helped me off the train once it came to a full stop.

From there we took a carriage ,much to my dismay, closer to Mt. Hakobe. Its  like history is repeating itself only this time its not me, Luce and Happy, its me, Luce ,my ex fiancee and Suna, my son whose mother is my girlfriend. A question still bothers me though...where's Nashi? I dont remember seeing her at the base.

Life is pretty messed up.

"Sorry guys. This is as far as i could get you" i heard the driver sigh.

"Its okay! Thank you!" Luce said cheerily making my heart skip a beat. I ignored it putting on an emotionless face but my cheeks said otherwise.

Luce and Suna helped me out of the carriage. I was immediately hit with strong slightly chilled wind. Probably cause of my body heat.  

We started walking through the heavy snow. Images of our first operation together here flashed through my mind. I remember Luce being as loud as ever and yelling for my blanket.

Also for her to be constantly complaining about how cold she was and how we were taking too long. Though it was cute because of the face expressions she made.

I glanced over at Luce to see her shivering violently. Suna seemed fine though and he was walking ahead of us as Luce was walking beside me. I grabbed her and pulled her close to me not looking at her cause i know she was looking at me.

Her face was bright red and smoke was coming from her head. I chuckled mentally as she snuggled closer into my side while checking every once and awhile to make sure i wasnt looking at her.

Thats how it was for the rest of the walk.

We arrived in a cave as the sun set outside. The cave was surprisingly warmer than the outside so Luce let go of me and walked ahead after muttering a quick thank you.

I shook my head and shoved my hands in my pockets unable to keep the smile from forming on my lips. How is it that i smile over the simplest of things with Luce but i cant even crack one with Lisanna? Even if she cuddles into me i get disgusted and want to push her away but i don't cause she's my girlfriend and my son's mother.

This is confusing...

I ran my hand through my hair frustratedly before catching up with Suna and Luce. Those two were so deep into their random converstation that they probably forgot i even existed.

How tragic.. -___-

A loud growl was heard making us stop simultaneously and looked around. Luce put her back against mine off of instinct. She took out her double gold guns while i took out my grenades ready to blow up the place if i have to.

What? I like fire okay. Dont judge me.

Suddenly rumbling could be heard and a white furred beast came running out. Suna screamed in horror and hid beside us.

Luce shot her guns and i threw my grenades.

Wait....arent we supposed to get away from the place first?

My eyes widened in shock. I spun on my heel while grabbing Suna and Lucy trying to run away. I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"RUN!" But it was too late.
