Lucy POV
I feel like I'm floating. My head is throbbing and my body is sore. I gasped awake, the sound alerting the others around me.
"LUCY!!" They yelled. I opened my mouth to speak but all that came out was a cough. The metallic taste of blood stained my tongue and painted my bottom lip. I pouted. Am i really going to die this way?
I'm so freaking weak. Their worried faces made me frown more. I coughed again, more blood pouring out of my system. Erza and Natsu were yelling something at me but i couldn't hear. My eyelids grew heavily and soon I fell into a painful sleep where I know that I will be fighting for my last breath. I just hope that I have the strength to.
Natsu pov
"CRAP!! LUCE! LUCE!LUCE! COME ON LUCE WAKE UP! DONT GO LUCE! DONT! ARRGGHHHHH!!" i growled in frustration and charged through the trap. The explosives blew up creating a big fire. Surprisingly the fire didn't effect me badly. It sent a tingling sensation through my body but no burns.. Weird.
"I'M COUNTING ON YOU ERZA!" I shouted as I ran off. I swear to Mavis that if I don't find Erigor and get vengeance for my Luce I'll never forgive myself.
Erza POV
I nodded at Natsu even though he couldn't see it. It was strange that he wasn't effected by the fire. I will have to test that later but for now.......
I grabbed Lucy, bridle style and started running towards the base. Her pulse was extremely weak and her breathing pattern was rigid and forced.
A frown made its way on my lips. Mavis please don't let my cousin die.
Natsu POV
I bolted down the train tracks like the mad person I am. The only thoughts in my head were one word and demanding.
Kill
Hurt
Die
Shitface
Hurt
My
Luce
And it repeated over and over. The fact that Luce's life could potentionally be in danger triggered me to run faster. I know Wendy would be able to help my Luce but I'm still hungry for revenge. And Erza would totally agree.
All of sudden I bypassed something that was on the floor. I stopped in my tracks and sprinted back over to it. Now that I was close enough I realized that it was Ice pixie.
You know even though we fight alot he's like a brother to me. But don't tell him i said that.
I frowned and picked him up, then slung him over my shoulders like a sack of potatoes and continued running.
I can't carry him bridle style other wise it would make me look gay and feel like I'm cheating on Luce.....again.
Erza POV
"How is she Wendy?" I asked Wendy worriedly. Me, Mirajane, Porlyusica and Wendy were in the infirmary helping out the two healers in any way we could.
The others were devastated when i barged in with a half-dead cousin in my arms. They didn't ask questions much to my relief and lead me straight to the infirmary. I told Mira the situation and she informed the others. Now the whole of Fairytail is gloomy.
Porlyusica grit her teeth in frustration then slapped Lucy's face.
"What the hell Porly-" i started but stopped when i saw her look up at me with teary eyes.
"We can't help her. The poison is called Magelicanical. It only has one cure but you have to travel halfway across the world to get there. Its a flower called Hibiscuylope. Its found in the Northern Mountains and Hisdedn in the Lericah Valley. Thats the only cure and by the time you make it back she won't be here." She explains.
Little by little I felt my heart cracked into pieces. It felt heavy as I tried to steady my breath.
"How much longer does she have to live?" I asked. Porlyusica frowned with more tears dripping down her cheeks.
"Two days"
