Secrets

Betty POV:
I walked into Pop's to meet Veronica and saw her at a table. I walked up and sat down, I ordered a vanilla milkshake and we spilled drama. "How's Archieee?" Asked Veronica, I said "he's fine I guess". I think she could tell I tensed up when Archie's name came up in our conversation. She then told me that she wish she had a boyfriend like Archie, I then accidentally mumbled "you can have him" under my breath. Thankfully I don't think she noticed.

Veronica's POV:
I'm not sure why Betty got all weird when I mentioned Archie, I hope everything is ok in there relationship. I heard her mumble "you can have him" but I don't know if she was being sarcastic or if something is wrong. I don't want to try to get up in her business so I'll leave it alone, I just hope she is ok.

-Time jump to next day in the school hallway-
Betty's POV:
Archie walked up to my locker before 3rd period. We started talking and I asked if he wanted to hangout sometime this week.  Archie asked if I wanted to go to the movies Friday night. Of course I said yes and then he told me he would pick me up at 8:00 as he walked to his next class because the bell was about to ring. I'm so excited maybe things will start to get better, maybe things with change.

-The next day-
Betty's POV:
I walked into the blue and gold and saw jughead, he looked unusually happy. He asked how the article was going that I was working on, I told him "it's going well,  just need to edit a little". He tensed up and said "would you want to go to Pop's with my Friday night?" I told him I was sorry but that I was going to a movie with Archie. He said "well if things with Archie get cancelled I'll be there, I'm there every Friday night" I told him "oh I figured you were hanging out with the serpents" which I didn't think sounded rude at the time but it did. He didn't seem upset tho he just laughed and said "see ya coop" as he walked out of the door. I don't think he knows I'm a serpent, I don't think he would be happy if I made fun of him for being a serpent if he knew I was a serpent or any of my other secrets.
