Midnight Kiss

-Friday night-
Betty's POV:
It's 8:30 and Archie still hasn't picked me up for our date, he was supposed to be here at 8:00. Just as I was about to go upstairs and put on pajamas and just stay in for the night I got a call from Archie. He seemed off, he said he wasn't able to make it tonight and he was sorry. I immediately hung up the phone and felt a tear stream down my cold cheek, I knew he was doing something he shouldn't. He said things were going to change, I wonder who the bitch he is with now is. I felt so lonely so I think I'm going to head to Pop's to see if Jug is there.

Archie's POV:
I was in Josie's bedroom, she is so hot. We just had sex and are laying her bed. I kissed her forehead and told her how sexy she was and that she really knows how to please me, if you know what I mean 😏. She asked if I still had feelings for Betty and asked if I was going to dump her. I told her I didn't have feelings for Betty. But the thing is, what would Betty's parents say if I broke up with Betty, and She is really good in bed, it would be hard to go without her for more than a week.

-At Pop's (same night)
Jugheads POV:
I saw betty walk in, I was shocked to see her here, I thought she was supposed to be with Archie right now. She looked like she had just cried and she was wearing a gray coat with a pale yellow shirt underneath with blue jeans, she looks so pretty even when she cries. When I saw her I immediately hopped out of my seat and asked if she was ok. She said something about Archie but I wasn't quite sure because she was crying. I told her to sit at a booth and I sat next to her. She said "I think Archie is cheating on me" I said "there is no way he would do something like that to you, he loves you to much". She shook her head with another tear streaming down her pretty face. I felt so bad that she was feeling this way, we talked for a while and she seemed to be okay. I told her if there was anything else she needed I was here.

Betty's POV:
Jug was so sweet, I never knew he was like this. It was now midnight, we have talked about so much and we each had 3 milkshakes. Before I told him that I should get home he kissed me, I kissed back. I immediately stood up and told him I had to go. He looked confused on why I had to go, I told him "I'm Veronica's best friend I can't do that to her, she would be so upset if she found out about this kiss". I then rushed out with no more words said.
