First Fight

I'm looking the rain pouring on the window, I'm waiting for my boyfriend.  At the moment I'm quite sad because it's been 3 days since Lenni came back from his tour and I haven't seen him since. He's busy preparing his new album so when he comes back home he's just tired and go to sleep. It's just upsetting me, so today I decided to confront him.

I hear the front door open, but I don't move, I'm searching for the perfect words to tell him that I need him. I hear him shouting, then the creak of the steps to finally cross our bedroom door. 

-"Hey princess, what are you doing here ? You didn't hear me ? It's been 5 minutes since I'm calling you".

I can't look at him, I don't dare confront him, I have to tell him that I can't handle this situation anymore. 

-"Listen Lenni, I need to talk to you" I turn to face him "I can't anymore, you don't take care of me anymore, first you were in tour, and now you're preparing your new album but where am I in all this, where is my place? I know that your career and your fans are important to you but I need you and you don't seem to understand that" I didn't realise but tears are flowing on my cheeks, I look at him, I see him thinking about something.

-"Certainly my career is important but you're my priority, you must stop thinking that you're nothing for me"

-"I never said that I was nothing to you, but I think that you don't care anymore about me Lenni !"

He clenches his fists, turns and leaves, but I'm not finished. I'm following him to the living room catching his wrist I continue my speech.

-"I don't want to fight with you, I don't want you to be pissed against me, I just need you, I just need you to take care of me, even just a little"

He turns around, do I see tears on his cheeks?
-"You don't understand, I fucking love you, more than anything in this world, if I could stay with you all day, I'll do it, if I work all day it's to give you the life you deserve, it breaks me to see you thinking that you're not my priority, it breaks me to not be with you all day, and I promise to stay with you more often, I didn't know that you felt this way"

I cry too but a smile is drawn on my lips.

-"Of course I suffer idiot, but talking to you make me feel better, seeing you fighting for our couple to work make me feel that maybe I can do an effort too, so I will try to come to your studio more often"

-"And your studies ?"

-"I will do it at the studio"

Lenni looks at me, he cups my cheeks and comes near me, his lips touch mine gently. When we separate, he wipes my tears away. 

-"I love you, you know that ?"

-"I love you too idiot!"
