Feels Like Rain
Sunday Mourning

He didn't want to go at first, and he still didn't actually want to attend when he did eventually go. But there was only so much badgering about it that he could take.
Taking turns sharing their names and the thing they couldn't get over was something he expected. He also expected the minutes of silence they had each session, a moment to compose themselves and let their feelings run through them. What he didn't expect was bonding with someone through their shared grief.
Minor Information:
Huge part of the story is overcoming grief, finally letting yourself grieve, and learning that it's okay to move on.
Small sub-plot of the main character feeling jealous of the dead man the new love interest was mourning. Our MC ignored his own grief and focused on other feelings as a distraction, thus feeling envious and slightly scared that as long as the love interest is still grieving, he just won't ever be enough.
