The Journey Continues

Authors notes: UnderTale and Deltarune are owned by Toby Fox. The only Character I own is the Main Character OC and Juna I made for this story. This is a work of fiction any character/s that may seem based on someone or something you own is a coincidence. Also any other AU that I may base a story element around is their respective owners'. I only use them in right of fair use do not comment saying I stole an idea or property, thank you. Also seeing as many AUs have been stolen I couldn't find the original owners of some and I will not be saying which AUs I am using for the story elements P.S. Some AUs are a sneak peek at some of mine, I'm not saying which as to not self promote.

Chapter one: A Shift

It took Dee some time to get better, the waters made them so weak they couldn't even stand at first. After about a week of treatment they were finally back to being mobile. With Dee's help Error and Ink came up with a deal, Error could destroy any AU that seemed to be stagnate or forgotten by their creator. This way the Multiverse didn't get overwhelmed, and both parties could do his respective "job". After Dee was back to 100% Error and Ink helped him get back on trip to his world. Ink: "Okay, judging by your story you're from a pretty new AU. That's good, that means it'll be easy to trace your soul back to it." Dee: "Okay let's get going." Error: "Hold it, after your story about before, there's no way we're letting you go back to the multiversal waters." Dee: "W-what?! Then how can I get home?" Ink: "Simple, we can make a pathway from here to your AU. Now it won't be a straight shot, and we may hit some dead ends, but we'll get you home." Error: "That's right, Ink and me can make portals to AUs, it's how we do our jobs. So if we connect the AUs to make a pathway we can get you home. Think of it as thanks for a miracle." Dee: "A miracle huh? Not to put a damper on things, but I don't if your emotions will be permanent." Ink: "Well, we can only hope they are then, can't we?"

After everything was prepared, Dee was ready to set out to return home. Ink was the first one to make a portal. Ink: "Ok this is your first leap, be prepared for anything, and stay safe. I made the simplest path I could, but I can't be sure which AU you'll be sent to due to them constantly moving around. So again, be prepared for anything." Dee gave a simple nod, after cracking their knuckles they jumped head first into the portal and into the unknown. Once they were gone the two remaining felt a slight sense of loneliness. Ink looked over to Error as they watched the portal close, once it was shut Error quickly noticed Ink's look. Error: "... No, I know what you're thinking and no way are we doing that." Inky: "Awe, why not?" As the two began to talk it out, Dee found themselves falling through space and time.

Though the trip through the portal wasn't to long, the nature of it ended up dissociating Dee quite a bit. As they were thrown out of the portal they weren't thinking properly. Because of this when they found themselves high above Snowdin. All they could think of doing is screaming loudly as they crashed in a giant bed of snow. Outside of what was usually the Skeleton brother's home, Dee's crash caught the attention of the people there. As Dee forced their way out of the cartoonishly shaped hole in the snow, he was greeted with not San and Papyrus, but with Asriel and Chara. Dee: "Okay I hit my head harder then I thought, good night." The moment Dee got these words out, they ended up passing out due to the fall.

(You fell the darkness of the past creeping in) With I sudden start Dee sit up on the couch, nearly falling off as their left eye flared up intensely filling the dark living room with purple light. Looking around they noticed their mask on the table and quickly put it back on. Frisk: "Oh you're awake?" Chara: "Hey there, I'm Chara and this is Mirror." Frisk: "My name is Frisk." Dee: "... Hi... I'm Dee... weird question but you guys haven't seen a portal anywhere have you?" Asriel awoken by the talking, tried his best to come down the stairs in the most epic way possible. Asriel: "The great deity descends!" He yelled as he leaped from the top stair, to which he ended up face first in the carpet. Seeing this Chara couldn't help but start laughing. THUMP THUMP (Your soul is strongly pulsating in another world, the darkness of the past encroaches upon it) As the Chara and Frisk helped Asriel, they suddenly heard the door fling open with a hard slam. Looking back they noticed Dee had ran out into the underground. As they began their search for this newcomer Frisk couldn't help but note. Frisk: "Something isn't right, why would they suddenly run off? I mean they were still injured." Chara: "Yea, they were, where would they even run off too?" Asriel: "Worry not, a Deity such as myself knows exactly what to do." Chara: "Pfft! You gonna call mom?" Asriel lightly flinched and said yes quickly before calling.
