Larry thought he was hallucinating when he heard that voice break through the barrier of his pleading and sorrowful wish for death. His head turned and the hallucinations weren’t true, his brother was really there…standing in the middle of his floor with eyes begging for forgiveness.
Larry stared back at his twin who was staring at him as he slowly stood to his feet never taking their eyes away from each other. Larry faced his brother, his shadow…his mirror. No matter how hard they tried hating each other wasn’t an option. They never had anyone, they’ve always had themselves to rely on, depend on and watch after.
It was foolish to try and ruin a bond that strong, “I was afraid…” his voice soft and his eyes still glossy from fallen tears and his vision becoming more blurry from the sudden tears. Laurent took baby steps towards his brother as Larry spoke some more,
“I was losing you…you fell in love…you were moving on with your life. All of this…is my fault” his breathing hitched between sobs, “I don’t love her…I just didn’t want you to leave me”
Laurent leaped for his brother grabbing and pulling him into his arms hugging him strongly, tightly. The hug wasn’t much but it was much needed. Both of their eyes shut tight with tears coming down their faces as hushed apologies silenced the loud sobs.
Larry sobbed harder as his brother’s hug became more forgiving and comforting. Carter and the others stood beside and watched as the brothers united as one again, they felt the energy surging in that room…and for once, it felt good.

3 hours had passed as everyone sat around the dining room table catching up on everything. Larry and Laurent sat at the heads of the table with everyone else surrounding the table, Larry told Laurent everything even to Kyra’s changing and Laurent told him about him and Andreas’ demise and her being pregnant again.
“Well I know this time it’s no mine” Larry said making the guys chuckle. “And why is that” Carter asked. “Because soon as he came she no sleep with me no more!” he said pointing his finger at his brother. Laurent chuckled, “well last time was the same thing”
Larry looked at his brother asking questions with his eyes and Laurent nodded his head, “Shondra told me. It was a boy and he was mine”
The guys were bewildered as they didn’t know Shondra came up with a DNA analysis for it yet. Larry felt his brother’s emotions and put his head down holding back more tears from coming out. Laurent reached across the table grabbing his brother’s hand, “it’s over now”
Larry took deep breaths as he shook his head, “so how is she?”
Laurent sighed taking an even deeper breath, leaning back in his chair, “she’s resting…I know when she gets up I have a lot to tell her”
“What else Shondra say about this Lucifer crap?” Giannini asked. “Not much, but Blue did some research for me”
Blue grabbed her backpack and pulled out a thick notebook. “Lucifer is what hunters used to catch wolves back in the day. It was once a liquid substance that hunters dipped their bullets in to catch werewolves. Back then it was what we use today wolf anesthetics. Right here in Paris is where the drug got dumped into the river as the substance has been floating around ever since 1519. Whoever bit Larry passed it on to him”
“So why is it just now surfacing?” Shaun asked.
“It takes 3 years for the Lucifer to take complete action, it starts killing you from the inside out starting with your powers and surfacing to the outside…killing you in return”
“So why don’t I have it? Larry changed me…” Laurent asked. “Whoever changed you guys didn’t bite you like he bit Larry he just scratched the hell out of you. That’s why Andrea has caught it, from having sexual intercourse with your brother”
“So do I have it from Andrea??”
Larry laughed, “Damn dude!” Carter touched Laurent’s head assuring, “Laurent you’re safe” she teased and the boys laughed. This was actually the closest they’ve been with Carter and her daughters. “So what do I have to do?”
Blue continued, “You have until the Blood moon to drain your body of the blood. The Lucifer is black and located right in the vein of your heart. My sisters and I will collect 2 tubes for you one for the Lucifer and one for regular blood to save Andrea. All we have to is stick her ass with it and she’s clear”
“And with that baby inside her and that accelerated birth we have to hurry”
“It’s four nights away from now” Blue said. “What about those girls?” Leeco asked. Carter perked up, “yeah…what about those girls Lau?”
Laurent bit his lip, “Shondra was heated at them the other day I heard” all the boys chimed in, “you are not lying!”
“Lau I love you and all but I want my kill!” Blue cursed as Larry smiled, “still feisty as hell”. She looked over at him and winked, Carter snapped her fingers at them “Back to the meeting here you two! Now what are you going to do about these girls?”
Laurent knew there was no way around it so he just gave them the green light. “Do what you feel is best”
Carter smiled victoriously as Blue gave the same smile as her mother with more evil behind it. “Blue, I believe now…we’ve got work to do”

I groaned waking up from what felt like years of sleep, my eyes couldn’t cry so they just weighed a ton of weight from anxiety. My back was hurting and I couldn’t really remember what exactly the hell happened for me to get here.
I felt a body next to me and assumed it was Laurent but the boobs gave it away. My eyes followed the physique of the woman’s body to the face…”Kyra?”
She looked down at me, “Good morning baby sister. Well, morning to you anyways since it’s really night”
She giggled and I just kept staring at her, something about her felt different and odd at the same time. Then I smelled wet dog, “That isn’t me” I said to myself. I sniffed and sniffed and sniffed-the smell was right next to me…right over…Kyra?!
She was staring at me when I looked up at her and I noticed the change in her eyes and my own got wide from astonishment. “Oh no…” my voice was barely a whisper. Kyra replied with her eyes now green,
“Yeah…we need to talk”
