Ada's PoV
The moment the maid brought in Ren, I scrambling to my feet and running to him. My husband reached out to stop me but I avoid his hand. I snatch Ren from the maid and hold him protectively to my chest. Ren giggles and coos as I rock slightly so he isn't startled.
'WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!'
"holding my baby"
'No give him back to the maid. I don't trust you'
"I will not hand over my baby to a stranger. You're crazy if you think I'll back down because I'm afraid of you! My baby comes first. Always"
I take Ren and run into my room. I lock the door and check Ren over.
"Tsk this is why I don't let others handle you, Ren. That woman hasn't changed your diaper and you seem as though you're starving. It's okay mommy has you now. She won't let you starve, leave you dirt or scared"
As I feed him, I sing him a song so he's distracted while I changed his diaper and then I set him down for a nap.
